I just finished downloading season 2 and I actually for some reason, enjoyed it better than the first. Although 1.) his sister still annoys me! and 2.) Lila was a pain in the ass.

Too many good male lead actors for Hall to get his due?

Well, its hard to argue with the Sopranos but i hate House with a passion. Hugh Lauries not bad in general but the character and show are just not that great. Hall has a stronger supporting cast and crew which allows him to shine more than him.

well also, sopranos and house have been on regular tv. so more people know about it.

and the soprano guy. comon he won simply bc it was the final season :o

I liked this weeks episode. :)

The part when Dexter was snapping his fingers to wake up Angel was my favorite. I loved the camera angle. I also like the scenes with Harry. Harry is great and young Dexter is great.

Cory, I've been wondering something and maybe you could pm me if you don't think it would spoil things too much. When Dexter kills these guys, does anyone notice? Hasn't anyone wondered why all these serial killer guys are getting wiped out and is there ever any investigation at any of those crime scenes?

Thanks. :)

there are people who notice. youll see more of that this upcoming sunday ;)...the thing with dexters kills, there is no real pattern, except of course they kill people...however, not everyone knows they are killers...dexter gets suspicious about people and stalks them to find out if they are killers...and he also gets the info from this police department for other people he kills.

see your asking great questions, which is precisely why i know youll love this show once you catch up completely.

in season 2...the opening episode is (dont read this if u want a small portion of the first episode of season 2)
all of dexters kills/ garbage bags in the ocean, are discovered, and thats what season 2 is based upon.

but to ask your question shortly, not everyone knows which people are killers, so theres no common pattern of missing person...and you know full n well there are countless amounts of missing persons in the world, especially in a place like miami.

also, its tough to investigate missing persons when there no sign of them being abducted or killed or well, anything.

dex is too good :)

yea season 2 is more exciting/suspenseful...

but season 1 is a perfect first season IMO...introduces the character so well. gives you a complete background of Dexter...

Season 1 = his training in a way, and his first real test against "himself"

season 2 = his training in action, and his first real test against "the enemy"

season 3= dont even know, im hopeing itll be him against a completely different, frightening serial killer cough
LUNDY!
cough

Meh, I think that's a bit of a weak point in the show, actually. I can't remember all the people he has killed so far, but like in last night's show, the couple. And there was the nurse. Somebody would surely miss those three. It would be investigated.

Oops, I didn't see your spoiler, Cory. :o So anyway, that helps. :) As you can see I get anxious about the details. :hehe: Thanks.

thats the one problem i see with dexter being converted to cbs...

some of the questions are answered in season 2...some are answered in season 1.

i think people knowing theres a season 2 changes their perspective alot. they know there is a whole other season.

where as when i watched season 1, it was completely new and i was just wowed, shocked, the whole time.

Is Lundy a serial killer in the books?

:)

DUDE! a spoiler within a spoiler! Righteous!

sept 28 or oct 5th is when it starts...i think filming is about to start

All right. Although i really enjoyed season 1 i think season 2 is even better. I wonder if they will be able to top that in season 3.

Doakes being dead doesn't help :csad:

yeah it sucks, but it was necessary. dexter needs a negative

is lundy back for season..from the moment he appeared on screen i got the same feeling i did when rudy/brian made his debut into the show

plus it was necessary for Dexter to see what would happen if he got caught, at the end of season one he believes people would celebrate him, but at the end of season 2 he sees that nobody gives a crap.

did the actor kid playing cody change for season two..? i thought he looked different

dont agree there....throughout season 2
people are supporting the BHB...even newscasters ..."he should be on the city payroll", "the dark defender" comics...

but when it's "discovered" to be Doakes nobody attended his memorial service

i dont think many people would go to the funeral of a serial killer with over 40 kills...that doesnt mean some people didnt support him though...he had a freakin copycat.
