Or he could just not like Mad Men. It's possible that not everyone agrees with your opinion of something.

I'm not a fan either, doesn't mean the show is bad, just that I don't have an interest in it.

Has anyone here been watching Desperate House Wives? Sweet Jesus! Julie Benz has worn sexier stuff in the last 3 episodes of D-House that then all 4 seasons of Dexter. I am loving it!:wow:

yeah, she's sex.

Aw man, I've been watching Dexter from the beginning and just finished the episode where Lundy gets shot. :wow: Doakes I could take, but Lundy is just too damn cool to die. :csad: Dammit.

I just finished watching through Seasons 1-4. Great show.

I'm really wondering whats in store for Season 5.

Just finished season 4. All I can say is "wow." Lithgow was chilling.

Great show. I don't get why people dump on season 3 sometimes. I thought Miguel Prado was great too. I've really enjoyed all the seasons. Can't wait for season 5.

The only time this show ever misses a beat with me is the office romance stuff (the Batista/LaGuertia stuff was sometimes painful to sit through).

I have a feeling that season five is going too start out normal with dexter dealing with rita's death raising his son and maybe astor and cody too with Debs help. he is hunting a new killer but this time when he gets him dexter is alot more savage and kills him in a different ruital than what we know.

The only section in the shows history that I didn't really enjoy was everything with Lila in season 2. I just wasn't a fan of her character or her role in the events of the season. I think the bay harbor butcher plot could have survived strongly on its own without her accent interfering.

But, that was years ago, who cares now. I'm very excited for the next season.

I totally disagree. I loved Lila (and only part of that was because of her hot accent :cwink: ). I was pissed how she killed Doakes though. Doakes deserved a better death. I think the only kinda weak villain was the Skinner, because we didn't get to know enough about him before he emerged. He seemed cool, but after he died I pretty much forgot about him. I guess I also wasn't a huge fan of Trinity's daughter Christina Hill. I thought her personality was a bit one-key ("Quinn, I love you, let's sleep together. So what are they saying about that case?") but I understand her purpose. But different strokes for different folks.

Do not speak ill of Lila!:cmad:

She was amazing!

spoiler regarding season 5

season 5 will take place right after Rita's murder,so there is no skipping 5 yrs ahead

It would be impossible to place the season 5 years ahead, unless they were going to ditch the actors who play Astor and Cody and replace them with 18 year olds. This was never even a question for me.

Why does everyone want this? I don't want to see mopey Dexter who's a terrible father all season.

Because I don't believe he's going to be mopey. I think he's going to be bloodthirsty pissed off. I also expect the grandparents to step in and start a custody battle for Astor and Cody, which peaks at Dex threatening the grandfather.

If they jump ahead in time, then they killed off Rita just to ignore it. What's the point of that?

You two seriously didn't think that was going to happen.

no because there were some talks about a time jump when season 4 ended. One of the producers threw it out there during an interview.

I think it's better for Dexter's development to actually show the aftereffects of Rita's death, especially after all the questioning he did about his status as a father in Season 4. If they jumped ahead that would feel like a total waste for great potential character development and I would expect an inferior show to do something like that just to avoid things slowing down the killing and whatnot.
