As much as im rooting for Dexter to get with Lumen, at the same time im wondering...is Lumen good for Dexter? I mean i feel like shes only going to feed Dexter's bloodlust and vice versa. Dexter needed someone like Rita who was damaged yet also encouraged dexter to leave his Dark Passenger behind. Will Lumen and Dexter's relationship only feed their respective bad habits?

I am a bit embarrassed about how excited I was to see Johnny Lee Miller on Dexter. Been a fan of his for quite a while now, and I enjoyed his work on Eli Stone. It's funny to think that, after reportedly coming so close to getting the role of Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead that ultimately went to Andrew Lincoln, that he's ended up in another top US drama instead. He's not going to top Trinity, but he's a good enough actor that he'll make for an entertaining enough Big Bad.

Great episode. Julia's Lumen is a great adition to the cast, and great character.

Glad that I was right for two things: It was Miller on the CD cover of Boyd's CD. And Johnny is the 'main' villain in this series...

The preview for the next was great. Can't wait.

I love the relationship that is forming between Dexter and Lumen. It's not romantic (yet...though I don't know how I feel about that since it's still so soon after Rita, I still miss her) but they do depend on each other. Who knows what would have happened to Dexter if Lumen didn't come in and save him. And she went in with a "feeling" like Dexter. I'm glad they're exploring a group of serial killers rather than just one. Two are down and now three more to go!

I so called it like a month ago that JLM was the motivational speaker Boyd was listening to. I knew they weren't going to put that good of an actor in a small role so I was expecting him to have something to do with everything.

So what are we going to call this Dexter/Lumen relationsip now?? Dumen? Lexter?? I like Lexter! Hahaha For real though Lumen is exactly what Dexter needs in his life right now at least on an emotional level, this is the most fascinating character they've introduced into Dexter's life yet. Who else teared up a bit when he brought Harrison to see her? That had to be HUGE for Dexter, he's taken the first steps to letting somebody in his life fully and completely and Lumen being the victim that she is and invoking such feelings of compassion in Dexter is probably the most his character has progressed up until this point. I cant wait to see how everything falls apart! I really hope this season ends with Deb finding out!!

Good, I haven't really like the Dexter/Dad soft focus conversations for a few seasons now. I much prefer Dexter's narration inner dialogue over a scene of him arguing with himself.

Well someone has been bound to find out about dexter for a while and what with this secret investigation that quinn is holding on dexter, Deb will probably find out in the end (hopefully)

And I think Debs killing of one of those brothers may be the thing that connects her to dexter and and make her be alright with what he does.

I enjoyed the latest episode! I love the scenes with Dexter & Lumen actually, but I wouldn't mind if she ended on his killing table nor if they end up together either! Anyway, I like their chemistry and their interactions! I hope the story will get some more focus on Quinn vs. Dexter too, but hopefully without Quinn dying or getting set up this time! And "Robocop" is just badass lol! I love the addition of Peter on this show, but also Johnny Lee Miller as Jordan Chase!

However, what I hated was the way LaGuerta dissed Angel at the end of the episode when he was trying to encourage her! I mean after all, it was HER mistake! Yasmin & others died and the operation went terribly wrong because of her, but she won't even admit it?!? And she is acting like a b***h towards Angel! First that account she had, now this! And to think he stood up for her when someone was talking **** about her and got in trouble! Angel definetly deserves someone better.

Johnny Lee Miller was great, really looking foward to having more of his character in the upcoming episodes. I really like where they're going with the possible 'secret brotherhood of serial killers' angle. Luemen and Dexter (or Julia and Michael's really) have very good chemistry. I don't see the relationship getting romantic...and I kinda like that. It's like him taking on a sidekick, a partnership like he said with his final monologue to end the episode.

I thought they made good strides, on all fronts, with the latest episode. Laguerta looks like a sinking ship, because it was her judgement call that got people killed. I'm not even sure who'd they promote, but her days in charge look numbered. I like where the Quinn and Debra thing is going, with Robocop becoming a nice hiccup for Quinn.

I'm curious to see where the Santa Muerte story is headed, now. I still think it could tie into the Jordan Chase thing, somehow. Or maybe they've got nothing to do with eachother.
