I just finished the first season on DVD too. Great show.

Some predictable stuff, like the minute I saw [blackout]Rudy start flirting with Deb[/blackout] I said "Ice Truck Killer!" But still a great finale.

Season 2 officially comes out on DVD in a week, so I'm just waiting until then to Netflix it.

Have to agree there. The moment he came on screen I knew it was him.

As for [blackout]Doakes[/blackout], yeah, I have to agree. That really was a pity. I liked him a lot.

It was just such a lame to dispose of him. And he didn't deserve to die like that. I really would've liked to see more of him in Season 3. Or at least like Cory said, not die at the beginning of the Episode.

the writers had said that we couldnt possibly have 5 seasons of doakes and dexter going back and forth forever, it had to come to an end eventually. anyway i was hoping he was still around and possibly have an end like in the books.

Just finished Season 2. I loved Season 1. But season 2 blew it away. I'm so pumped for Season 3 now it's not even funny.

The imitation of Doakes is class...Dexter is good not brilliant but the Doakes is spot on.

I love this show though...just got my mate into it and he's hooked now...roll on Season 3

Crazy awesome impersonations. His Dexter is a little "creepy" and "aggressive" but still, the inflection and tone are pretty on. His Doakes is HILARIOUS! So great!

so it might not of been 'so quickly'. and as for his info on where she went...he works with the police. she had to get to paris some how...plane ticket. im sure deb woulda been more than happy to help dex to find out that shes really gone.

then again, lundy coulda thrown them a bone too. give deb, dex and batista a break, letting them know she went to paris....

i have no idea. this is high babbling on my day off.

season 3 looks ****ing awesome. jsut saw another preview on showtime....the best preview so far is the bloody one with the" gotta secret can ya keep it? cause 2 can keep a secret if one of them is dead' song
