That's the creators' intended way of showing it, and going with the creators' intent is almost always better than an edited version, so yeah. You could wait for the DVDs in August, too.

the versions of season 2 on limewire and the torrents are the same as showtimes unedited... i burned them onto dvd and its perfect quality.

season 1, cbs made some insignificant changes...but of course Mother ****er sounds much better than mother trucker

I started Last week with no knowledge of Dexter and now all I have left to watch is the last 4 episodes of Seasons 2.

I love how they are showing him grow as a person, especially when the car salesmen called his girlfriend a c**t and then Dex stabbed him out of anger. The look on his face of "Why did I just do that?"

Although I feel they are making him grow a little to quickly. The Dexter of Season 2 is FAR different than the Dexter from Season 1.

I'm glad for that. Too many shows draw things out and become stagnant for fear of not having stories for later seasons. The Dexter crew seems to be leaping in with wild abandon, evolving Dexter organically, and worrying about what comes next later. It works for them. I haven't felt like the show is dragging its feet at all in its history so far, as opposed to other TV dramas (*cough*entire third season of Lost*cough*).

I'd disagree. Dex grew pretty much over the first season. At the very least, Rita has become a bona fide girlfriend in his eyes rather than just a girl he paraded around to look normal.

I do feel sorry for Stokes though. I also dont like how they handled Dex's father's death. I understand him getting sick when seeing what Dex did but he was training him for about 15 years to do what he did.

I just think he would have understood what Dex would actually do and not kill himself.
