I do feel sorry for Stokes though. I also dont like how they handled Dex's father's death. I understand him getting sick when seeing what Dex did but he was training him for about 15 years to do what he did.

I just think he would have understood what Dex would actually do and not kill himself.

yea what happens to doakes suckes, but its neccessary.

and as of harry killing himself...thats what Matthews said, i have a feeling its much deeper than that, but then again, seeing deers and other animals being killed is a little different then walking in on your son cutting a human up into little pieces in your garage and realizing you taught a person how to murder and get away with it, when your job is catching bad guys lol :woot:

crazy **** huh? lol the first go round the suspense week to week was un ****ing real.

Yeah it has been quite suspenseful. It seems to be even funnier than the first season as well.

yea, episode 10 is the best of the season, it kinda freaked me out haha

Can't wait to see that one.

Yeah it's the big dude.

yep little chino. hes a freakin monster.

Maybe matthews killed harry.

you guys know that Jimmy Smits joins Dexter for season 3?

Yeah I am happy about that, he should be good in this show.

Season 2 was excellent. It's too bad the 3rd is many months away.

Yeah I was just thinking if I had watched one episode a week I would have led right up to September.

What are some of your favorite scenes from the show? I have several, but the one that just stays in my mind (for some reason) is; Warning: from second season:

The look on Dexter's face after he slams Paul with the frying pan. It's priceless. I literally laughed out loud at his *eek .. what have i done?* expression. It was perfect. MH is such a great actor, so subtle and 'normal', but then he can turn on a dime and be the epitome of evil, like when he told the psychiatrist that he kills people. The intensity in his expression and the downright evil were chilling. And he can go from that to the funny stuff, like with the frying pan.

Hmmm, you might be right. I thought it was second, but I watched almost the entire series in about five days. I might be confused. :o

D'oh.

It seems like dexters past will be a recurring theme in season 3

I'd say it has to be. It's integral to the whole plot line.
