Dexter

I liked the Masuka sidestory though. His speech he gave to Ramon was great. I actually laughed out loud at the scene and I never do that in this show. I'm surprised they haven't talked much about Doakes this season. I thought Laguerta would be hell bent on proving his innocence.

she still might be...she hasnt been in the show that much so far this season, so maybe shell have a bigger part second half. i sure hope so

Last night's episode was good. Now that Miguel "knows what Dexter is" it's going to change up the show entirely. Miguel seems to want justice for these people in any way he can find it, and if it means setting them up for a night with Dexter, then he's all for it. The previews for next week confused me, it looked like Miguel set Dexter up.

It makes me further suspect that Miguel is the "skinner" they're looking for. I'm torn between either him or Quinn. There's just something about that guy I don't like.

Masuka was a bad ass this episode. His "it's not opinion, it's science" speech was awesome.

Wasn't Miguel at an arraignment when they showed Debbie and that kid through the binoculars?

We didnt see him there though so i wouldnt say its set in stone

I dont think Miguel is the skinner though anyway. I think Ramon is. Quinns the red herring.

it think ramon and quinn are both red herrings.

I do to, think about it, a good assumption is that Ramon cut that dead girl to get access to the investigation notes. If he was the skinner why would he cut her wrongly?

I would love it if Masuka was the skinner. He's been fiending for respect and attention from his co-workers; seems like good enough motive to me. Quinn or Ramon seem 'too' obvious of a choice.

Good point but I like Masuka. I'd hope it wasn't him... :wow:

i think ramon killed the one girl. i think he wanted info and she wouldnt give it to him, so he killed her and tried puttin it on the skinner

just like in season one we probably wont meet the killer until the halfway mark of the season.
it sees like prado sets dexter up in the next episode. i hope its not true because they would make a good team. i think he could possibly be the killer or his brother. cant wait to see what happens next.

he cut her wrongly because he didnt know the exact way the real killer is doing it so he figured he was cutting off tattos and just smothering them with pillows or something.

i dont think miguel set up dexter, if somebody noticed that the criminal was loose miguel would naturally have to look like he wants to catch him. Shows are consantly editing the previws to throw us off

well in Ramons defense...he did say the victim was strangled, when she was smothered. so maybe its really not him.

Arbiter, miguel may not be setting up dex...but hes an ADA, and Dex is a forensics specialist for miami metro...how the hell do either of them think this plan would work, i mean serious...miguel slips the guy a key in an interrogation room! i guess its common to see people in orange jumpsuits sneaking around police precincts.

cant wait to see how dex gets himself out of this one, from what i saw on the previews, theres going to be a man barricade around the building and looked like the parking garage doors were closing.

I could totally see it being Ramon, or at least he killed the latest victim in order to get into Miami Metro. It would make sense why this killer did it different from the other victims this time. Doesn't mean Ramon is the killer, but I think he definitely has blood on his hands.

I think the preview showed what we wanted to see...to make us think hes set him up...just like this weeks preview made it out like someone was gonna walk in on dexter when they were looking for him for rita...

I think obviously miguel has to act like hes oblivious to the escape but try and throw them off the scent at the sametime...

dex will get out of it...he always does...

Yeah , he always does. Dex is the master at it.

I'm really surprised he doesn't wear a mask during his outtings. Especially since we're living in the age a cell-camera phones and high tech cameras all over the place. If Dex were 'real', he would have been photographed or caught on tape by now.

I just finished watching this season so far and I think the whole dynamic between Miguel and Dexter has been brilliant. Actually the whole Miguel character is rather interesting. However I'm not sure how I feel about Rita becoming pregnant and Dexter proposing. That seems to be going in a weird and rather unfullfilling direction.

yea, but this entire season is going somewhere now, starting last episode and now this sunday looks to be intense.

Jimmy Smits, IMO, is an awesome addition and has done amazing.

Me as well.

You know, I also really like Jimmy Smits in this show too. At first I was a bit hesitant, but I think his character is great, and he's done an incredible job. I'm really anxious to see what happens in the next few episodes between he and Dexter now that the secret is out.

if prado doesnt know hes the BHB, then the writers have really suffered with that one guy leaving. its not like his opinion of dex would change knowing that anyway. its a known fact the BHB 'takes out the trash'.

so that damn well better be mentioned. id like an episode where dex tells prado everything...from his mom to being trained by hairy, to the ice truck killer, to the bhb and doakes, til now. it would be interesting seeing someone else that knows the entire scenario dex has gone through

That look on Miguels face when he realized Dexter fooled him was great. He looked like equally pleased and impressed
