The previous episode (not last night) was interesting to see that it wasn't lazy writing, you know? That the details do matter...and the writers are aware of it.

Dexter doing less detective work to judge a prey...isn't just me noticing something wrong, but it's actually Dexter himself not doing the **** he should.

1. So if Rita does what is hinted at in the previews. Just how far are the writers going to go, so that we hate the living sh** out of her! Seriously WTF!!!

I swear, for the most part, she's just your average wife. She has her concerns about how invested her husband is in their marraige, not to mention his attention towards their children. Dexter is slitting his focus between them and his "hobby", that isn't terribly justifiable to anyone, really. "I'm sorry I've been so distant in our marriage, but I need time to kill these people because they're killers." Yeah, I don't see that conversation going that well. So the fact that he's always hiding something from her and flat out lying to her, she has every right to act the way she does. THis whole thing where so many of you think she's too whiny and furthermore should be killed off (SERIOUSLY!!!), I just don't get it.

Wow. Good ep last night but thinking about it afterwards, Trinity seems to have blown his load once he laid out all of what makes him tick psychologically. It sort of devalued his malevolence somewhat. Talk about a setup to a watered down conclusion with him...

So according to next week's previews, they'll project him as "Daddy Dearest" so that he doesn't lose that edge we all were revering? I know last night there were hints here and there that he's sort of an anal dad.

Looks like Rita may have the finale i'm hoping for. The look that Quinn gave Masuka when he told him how Dex was sleeping with the Layla from S2; someone on here mentioned that Quinn might accidently cause the demise of Rita, pursuing Dex; i'm starting to see this as a favorable outcome now.

The reporter; o/k weird that she might be the shooter. But what motive would she have? Just to manufacture the news, so to speak, so she can keep her job? Kinda lame..

I'm also glad that there's more to the Trinity family than the picture perfect family exterior that's been painted so far.

just saw it was awesome, Rita is a ****ing *****, i really hate her now. Retronaz might be right about the reporter maby she's doing the crimes so she can have more stories to write? for some reason i have a feeling it might be that asian chick from the last season. Laguearta and Angel relationship is cool cause it doesn't drag, can't get enough of Arthur and Dexter. Next episode looks great. Poor Dex, wonder how he'll react once he finds out Rita and the neighbor

All the ashes are gone, Trinity has completed his cycle.

But with this "new lease on life" he might simply become a serial killer with no code, or cycle.

I'm betting he's not visiting the reporter to kill her though...

What was the criteria for the first girl in the Trinity cycle, other than her dying in the bathtub..? I also don't think that he's there to kill the reporter. The previews thus far have been very misleading. Wouldn't it be something if she kills him!

I also noticed there was no Harry this ep.................

And i also don't remember if they explained why the neighbors wife left him. Is he abusive? Did he kill her, and she simply vanish...?
