Just saw the trailer, I said to Matt after season 4 ended that I figured Quinn would be Dex's main antagonist this year and it looks like he is, complete with creepy comb over.

No sign of Julia Stiles in the trailer, it'll be interesting to see how her and Robocop fit in.

Looks, and feels amazing. The kids blames Dexter for the death of their mother, and Dexter himself blames him.

I finally see what is the part of Quinn in the series. He’s the new Doakes. And I knew the Kyle Butler thing will turn around on Dexter. We clearly see that they know he had known Arthur, so what will happen to Dexter?

So many fu**ing questions. Can’t wait for September 26th

PS: Why no Julia Styles and Lee-Miller in the trailer?

There is also a new promo called "It’s Already Over" it's pretty sad.
Lots of good stuff this season dexter sinking deeper into his dark passenger.
Quinn vs Dexter we all saw it coming but I don't like that the show has made him Doakes 2.0.
I trust the writers and I know they'll make it good.

Given the sever ups & downs of the writing last season. I am going to wait until this season is completely over to view it. But I will say after seeing the trailer it will be extremely difficult to wait. It looks like quite the emotional rollercoaster.

No. Wish I had, because to me up until the Brilliant thanksgiving episode I was really dissappointed by the writing. They really found where they were going when they got to Hungry Man.

As far as the trailer goes:

1. I was really surprised that the Aster(sp?) blames Dexter. I never suspected they would go that way. Very interesting.

2. It seems that Quinn isn't exactly Doakes 2.0. He seems to be taking a much more tactical approach to going after Dexter. Doakes was the definition of meat head in the way he went after Dexter.

3. I am going to say this just in case. I am still worried that they are going to make some one else the killer of Rita. I know the creators said that it was Trinity. I am just worried they will retcon that. feeling pressure to top last seasons big ender.
