Good week and I'm stoked for the long awaited Blackest Night mini. Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps are the only DC's I still collect (though I might still buy Batman, not sure yet) so this is something I've been looking forward to for quite some time. I don't like that there's a second mini, along with others later, but it's an event, what do you expect. I figure I'll skim the Tales of the Corps mini and decide then if I'll buy it or not.

Mighty Avengers has been good for the most part so this should be the same. I'm more excited because, if I'm not mistaken, this is the War of Kings tie-in. I'm eager to see how that'll work out. New Mutants has been boring the past 2 issues so I'm hoping it picks up soon. I like Cannonball, Sunspot, and Legion... and with Warlock coming soon I should be liking this book, but so far I just don't care about it. Hopefully that'll change because I have to drop titles and this will end up being one by the end of the first arc if not. X-Factor is always good, I can count on that. Utopia has been alright thus far so Dark Avengers is a good thing.

This very well may be my final Deadpool issue. With the prices what they are and my income what it is, it doesn't line up. Thus, I have to drop more titles. I like Deadpool, I really do, but I like near everything I read now and things have to go. The same thing for Punisher. I like it a lot but I'm not as big on the new artist and I'm not as heavily invested into the title like I am most other. Don't want to drop either but it's probably going to happen. And more than likely I have to drop even more soon if I end up picking up Incredible Hulk for the Skaar appearances. It's $4 and I hate that, but I really like Skaar. I'm still debating.

Amazing Spider-Man is still iffy because I only bought the first 3 issues of the arc to try it out and I still hate everything about it due to OMD. If anything of consequence happens in this issue that'll effect Dark Avengers then I'll probably get this issue and last issue, but if it blows over then I'll probably not get them and sell the other three issues.

JMS mentioned in an interview that he'll definitely finish The Twelve. He just doesn't know when. So it's going in my "F*** you, too" file of comics that the creators/editors/whoever didn't care enough about to finish in a timely fashion, so I don't care enough to buy the remaining issues whenever they do come out.

I havent read the first issue yet, but if you say this is so, then I will continue to buy it. Gotham Central was easily my favorite DC comic when it was out.
