Transformers Did anyone else notice...

That the tank calls himself devestator but all the toys are called Brawl and there was even mention that the name had infact changed from devastator to Brawl. Also at the end when all the Decepticons mobilize you see baricade racing with the other Decepticons but you never actually see him fight at the end, i thought Bumble bee destroyed him after their first encounter with each other.

Someone told me that you can see Barricade's cruiser on the ship at the end of the film when Megatron is being dropped into the Mariana Trench. They said they could see "To punish and enslave" etched on the side of the car. Still have yet to confirm this myself.

I think that last scene had a lot of it on the editing floor

I'm pretty sure I saw "To punish and enslave" was on the side of the car, in white lettering, but it's in a fancy cursive writing style. It's shown quickly, so you have to keep an eye out.

Kinda weird if they were trying to hide, they put something like To punish and enslave on the side

Upon my third viewing, I tried to spot some potential easter eggs: 1) In the scene where the soldiers arrive at Nellis air base, in the background you can see some green and purple vehicles that I think are supposed to be nods to Constructicons. 2) When the jets are scrambling near the end to attack Blackout, I thought I saw the Predacon logo (as someone else here pointed out), but it was very slight and dark. 3) After Megatron's been defeated and Prime is talking to everyone, you can see a cop car's flashing red, blue, and white lights in the background, which I think is a nod to Barricade still being alive (since he almost always has his lights on). 4) In the prequel novel, Ghosts of Yesterday (by Alan Dean Foster), Blackout challenges Starscream for leadership of the Decepticons and loses; when Josh Duhamel gets on the motorcycle to take his suicide shot at Blackout, one of the jets that fires at Blackout is possibly Starscream. 5) Starscream (after fighting the jets in the air) shoots at Megatron along with the other jets (can't really be verified for sure, but it's highly likely). 6) When Megatron has Sam cornered on top of the building, two seemingly empty military helicopters go right by him and he doesn't attack them or even hint aggression at them, which means they are possibly other Decepticons (he already attacked civilian vehicles that weren't even in his way just because).

Did anyone notice President Bush in this movie asking for a pack of ding dongs?

God, I hope so. That would make the movie 10x better than it already is.

Another possible easter egg: In the battle between Optimus and Megatron, Megatron puts his arms together to form a cannon and when he kneels on the ground, he looks very much like a giant handgun firing.

not really an easter egg I don't think, but when Frenzy tells Barricade "those insects shot at me" I think he is flipping them off.... can someone verify that?

Wow I haven't noticed that, but that's a really nice touch, can't wait for the DVD comes out!

In the early part of the movie, when the soldiers arrive at the desert base, watch closely. When 2 guys are playing basketball, one is saying something about "Jordan in his prime". That "prime" alone could be a nod, but there's a soldier next to the court with a tattoo on his arm/shoulder. I saw it briefly, but I strongly believed it to be the image above. One of the tattoos of one of the soldiers under the shower seemed to be something similar.

i saw the movie twice and both times i thought he was flipping them off so I would say yes

Does anyone know just how many times we get the original transformation sound in this movie??

I counted more, but can only remember 2
1. Blackout's 1st transformation.
2. The Nokia phone

wasn't there a slo-me one when Ironhide was going after Devastator during that firefight.

And didn't Starscream make that effect during his dogfight with the F-22s?
