But there is no way in heck Sony would allow sex or even a simple fade out a la Casablanca (or Batman '89 and Indiana Jones for that matter) in these movies as i twould maybecause about a few dozen parents in the whole world not to take their kids to the movie.

This thread is funny. Peter and MJ probably have done it, mostly because of how much they love eachother. I also agree with DACrowe about them being in a relationship for a long time, which is another reason I think they did it. The only ****ty female character throughout the series imo was MJ. Betty didn't come off as ****ty in anyway, she was merely charmed by Peter's sudden testicular growth. Gwen had coffee with Eddy, she didn't sleep with him and she only got with Peter after Peter and MJ had broken up and when she found out that Peter was using both MJ and Gwen she got upset and apologised to MJ and left. As for the landlord's daughter, see how in sm2 she gave peter cake, just wait for sm4, when she serves him up a piece of poontang pie.
