Cause I dont remember him dong that. :(

He didn't which was one of the things that I didn't like about SR. But there really wasn't anybody to puch who he wouldn't seriously injure. Hopefully in the sequel there will be a supervillain so he can have a real fight.

I always thought that Superman tries to *avoid* confrontation whenever possible. So why would he go around knocking people out?

Actually...Superboy throws a piano, not quite a punch but I think that should count...

I hope we see some super brawling in the future as well. Enough with the crazy land schemes.

dont writte dumb things ok?
so what if he awoids?
what has this to do if a writter writtes a scene where superman fights a supervillian?

i have enough of this superman doenst fight debates.
if the writters writte a scene where we see superman fighting than we will see him fighting.

and i saw a lot of superman fighting in the comics and in the cartoons so dont come me with ''superman doesnt fight.''.

yes this movie did not have a super fight. but i didnt even had a super rescue from superman. singer is also talking bull**** when he says that you have to care for the charaters. newsflash singer. you had a super eartquake and superman fans who were waiting more than 20 years for a superman movie. belive me we would care.
if you think about the possibilitys of what they could have filmed with brandon. i respect singer but this was in noooooo way an action movie.

Superman avoids confrontation by being so powerful. Its like if you were trying subdue a toddler, you wouldnt punch them because you wouldnt need to. But a middle schooler might need to be knocked out. Superman doesnt avoid confrontation because he doesnt like to fight or doesnt believe in it, he just doesnt need to fight unless he's facing something very powerful which sadly he didnt have to do in SR. He was up against Lex's questionable intelligence. I mean, the guy is already a billionaire, but he's gonna destroy America and God knows what else so he can own the rubble and sell it to countries that have been decimated???

Yeah, you're right.
Superman wouldn't need to throw a punch in this cause he knew was facing Dr. Evil disguised as Lex Luthor and mini-me disguised as Kitty, and he knew "Lex"'s plan was so ridiculous he really had nothing to worry about.
After all, how would the ppl of America, forced to buy radioactive land from Lex, pay him for that piece of land? In seashells?
:D

Superman only needed to punch Lois.

I'm sorry it didn't happen.

I think he punchs Non in SII, but you don't actually see it, all you see in non go flying through a bunch of buildings, and you see supes crawl out of the hole they were in, shaking his hand off. I think this was done b/c it was pretty much impossible at the time to get a realistic shot of superman punching someone and having them fly through the air. No problems like that now, can't wait for the supersequel

hahahahahaha, I was just gonna say 'someone here has that in their avvy.'

my rate goes from 9 to 8

i would of had him put up a fight in my version

indeed

reeve threw more punches in all 4 superman movies than any other superhero movie series out there.

i think only Wesley snipes as Blade comes ahead in terms of fighting punches and kicks on screen in a superhero movie,

Blade 1 & 2 Kicked Ass, now thats how you make fight scenes!

I vote Guillermo Del Toro to do superman returns 2,
hes a genius, check out Pans Laybrinth when it comes out, fantasy and amazing effects, a real movie maker out there, and he did Hellboy justice,
