Did you see NatM just to see the trailer?

Hubby and I went out to celebrate his birthday and he picked Night at the Museum. Got to say I wasn't objecting in the least, despite the fact that it's not getting great reviews and I'm not a big Ben Stiller fan. Still had fun and the trailer was awesome.

>^^<

That movie was great. I've liked Shawn Levy since Big Fat Liar.

I asked the theatre management if I could watch the first few minutes of trailers while waiting for the new Will Smith film showing to start. They said that was fine as long as I reported back to them when I came out ("Or else we'll have to come in there after you!", they joked).

I did. Caught it. It was all good.

And that's that. :)

NATM was good and I did see it just to see the teaser, which wasn't even shown last night in front of it at that darn Reagal theater. I went a few hours ago after shopping and it was shown. I just stayed long enough to see the teaser though. I know one of the managers at the AMC and she let me go in and see it.

I did see it just for the teaser, but i actually ended up enjoying NATM. :)

I kinda' did.

I was going to go see it sometime, but when I heard the trailer was there and not going to be online for awhile, I had to see it opening day. I also was planning to see Pursuit of Happyness on that same day all week. So I ended up seeing them back to back.

If it weren't for the FF2 trailer on NATM, I wouldn't have seen it till next week or so. It was a great movie too.

I went to see it just for the trailer and they didn't show the FF trailer. I printed out the screenshot of the FF website that told us to go see NATM to see the exclusive trailer. The theater in Dallas knew nothing about the trailer being attached to the film. I'm going to try to get my money back. I would have rather seen a different film. It was hard to enjoy the movie because I was so ticked off.

Psh, I took my daughter to see Night yesterday in hopes I'd see the trailer. And guess what, they didn't show it.:csad:

For those of you who truly spent over $10 to see a 1 minute trailer is stupid and pathetic. As much as I love Thor I wouldn't do that to see the trailer, that really doesn't make sense.

You do realize that a whole movie came after the trailer right?

I didn't. I had the choice of Pursuit of Happiness and a few others but went to see NATM because it was supposed to have the trailer. I didn't and I'm po'd

Would not waste money on a movie I had no intrest to see, just to see the trailer. I can wait for it on the internet.

Yes I do, still no excuse though. I mean if you're hard core ff4 fan then you could say you're just showing loyalty, but come on.

I was planning to when it was first announced that the trailer was showing with NatM but I forgot about it. So I saw it and I was a few minutes late and completely missed the trailer :csad: :o

So technically I was gonna but didn't, but I saw the youtube version. :D

the trailer is on Youtube, but is dark. I'm not sure If it would be considered wrong to post it

got dang it. I've spent my whole day off online waiting for this damn trailer. Way to piss me off again Fox.

So in this case do the revenues brought in by the trailer get added to the FF2 bottom line? Marvel gets royalties on the use of the characters right? How will they calculate the percentages on this one?

Yup, I need a life and other things to worry about I guess.

I was thinking about seeing the museum movie, but won't now because I think Fox is showing a total lack of confidence in it by promotiong a trailer over the actual movie.

I was going to watch NATM but i changed my mind after hearing that NATM wasn't really good movie. And that the trailer was going play. So as you see it really made sense not to go.

It wasn't a great movie at all. But my kid loved it. The again she's 6, what the hell does she know.
