Yeah, but even before the time jump to them being adults, 02's climax ends with pretty much the barrier between the human digital worlds dissolving after they destroy malomyotismon. Im fairly certain at least, I just watched it a few months ago.

After the end of 02 everyone has a digimon and travel between worlds is like flying on a plane

Taichi becomes an ambassador to both worlds


So we'll see if Digimon Adventure Tri expands on the early days of both worlds communication

Wait how old were the original 8 by in Season 2 again? I'm assuming this takes place before they all grew up and had kids? That did happen right? It's been YEARS since I've seen seasons 1-2

First look at the slightly updated Agumon

It has been noted that the kids look more like the "Digimon Adventure" short film drawing style.

I like it. It adds a more movie quality look to them.

I'm in the camp that was hoping they would just ignore Adventure 02, which I've always thought was a big miss of a story. But I'm glad for the fans of it that the 02 kids will be featured. Though I'm guessing the original eight will receive most of the focus and the others will have sporadic guest appearances.

I like the new design for Taichi. Agumon looks kind of weird though.

I agree, there's actually more life in the movie shot than the concept art! Again, I'm THRILLED that Digimon (this Digimon anyway) is coming back with the original crew, but this art style has me nervous.

He might be remembering Tamers, which is still my favorite season. In Frontier they literally turned into digimon...it was weird.

Yeah it was frontiers. It was weird though. They went all naked into this digital matrix-esque world and then turned into a Digimon.

A sequel to Tamers would be amazing. I need more Gallantmon and Beelzamon awesomeness. As for tri, I want the rest of the digimon to go mega. It always bugged me with any of the seasons how only the two or three "main" digimon get to go to whatever the ultimate digivoution phase of that season is.
