The Dark Knight Digital Dent!

you think they might just be working on the actual transformation? wait. that might be too grotesque to watch...

they should do something along the lines of darkman

LiamNeeson_Darkman.jpg

someone specifically said not to post this without spoiler tags because it's gruesome... so I thought I would honour their request.

I think it would work for two face nicely, even if they had to tone it down a bit

looks too much like evil ash in army of darkness - that is, very fake.

Noirman says he's wearing make-up.

What are you doing?

"What is neccessary, my friend."

My only problem with CGI deformity is that it tends to be rather inconsistent. One example I can think of is Spiderman 3, where Harry is scarred. Sometimes, his cheekbones would shift to a different spot than it was before, in some shots it would look severe and in the next, it would look minor.

Another example is "The Phantom of the Opera". During the climax ("Don Juan Triumphant" scene), when she unmasks him, CGI was used, and his deformity looks VERY different than it does mere moments later.

Hopefully the CGI will use will be minimal.

If the report is true, it's most likely a post-production touch-up to the makeup already applied on Eckhart.

If there is CG, it'll be small touch-ups here and there. Nolan has stated he prefers other methods in the DVD.

I imagine he may look like Harry from Spider-Man 3.

Or they may make the scarred side of his face a different color.

Thats the color i want, but i also want things to be missing and his eye slightly more exposed.

Wasn't his skin tone still the same? I sure as hell don't want that. There needs to be a visual color reference that his face is literally 2 different halves.

I wouln't really care as long as its not too drastic, for instance green.

Yeah, it was the same color, just scarred.

I wonder what color they'll go for in this film? Something over the top like in the comics or a more realistic acid skin tone, something in the middle...

I hoping they go for a more realistic acid skin tone. If they can come up with a middle ground between that and the comics that looks good on film, I'll be open to that as well.

yah, good from wut i saw of dent wit makeup on he'll look better in cgi

I'm hoping they'll go for a more real life look of what we got in LTH. I really don't want to see any different colors like the pic above. I just never liked the interpretation of two face having half his face a color so...weird. Having the green skin seems like something Burton would do, and I don't say that to bash Burton because I liked his Bat films, but I didn't agree with all the cosmetic choices he made with his characters.

Yet you say this....

TLH had two face's burned half be pink and scarred like a real life burn would be.

When I said different color I meant something weird like Green, like the pic posted above.

Wtf? I'm pretty sure back when you were claiming to be an extra (and nobody believed you) that you had claimed to be in a party scene which in no way involved two-face.

It's like you're trying to kill your own credibility.

What if the CGI is for someone looking at two-face while under the influence of fear gas?

It was more like purple though. Ironically, the same color that Schumacher used, and fans detested.

I'm more of a fan of the reddish/pink tone.

Uhh...look at the first Ghost Rider transformation. You watch all his skin burn of his face.

oh no, a digital 2face? wtf? why would they use cgi to make his 2 faces? even though tommy lee jones was silly and all, he still looked like 2face with the ugly one side, and didnt need to use cgi. i dont know, but this sound bogus.
