Not to bothered about the theme song, but for Directors, I would prefer a British director. For me, Casino Royale felt too 'americanised,' were as QoS had a good sense of Britishness about it which I preferred to be honest.

Neil Marshall would do an awesome Bond movie, but he likes to write his own stories so not sure if he would do it.

Alex Proyas is an inspired choice, but frankly, would his style fit in a Bond film? I wonder especially since it wouldn't be science fiction.

You're right, he has only done scifi so far, but I don't think we have seen the full extent of his talent yet and he might be more versatile than it appears (even though both within the scifi genre I robot and Dark city are two very different films.)
I just think he's a great director and he knows action and FX.

Bale as a Bond Villain... an anti-bond if you will...

We've already had an anti-Bond. His name was Alec Trevelyn and he was played by Sean Bean. If you're going to go the route of an ex-MI6 agent again, go with an older actor who used to be M and staged his death to form Quantum. It would explain all the connections and make it personal for Bond. As for the actor, who better fitting than someone along the lines of Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan?

Also,how about Peter Berg for a director? I know Hancock kinda sucked, but he has done some very good work and has an amazing visual style. Though I suppose he'll be kind of tied up with the Dune remake.

You do realize Mark Forster is German, right? To that effect, the nationality of the director is hardly relevant.

No. I love Cornell, but I haven't been impressed by anything he's done in the last 5 years or so. I thought his Bond theme was superbly underwhelming.

I'm telling ya... KMFDM would knock it out of the park.


Also, how about the next Bond girl?

I'd love to see Jaime Winstone in a Bond movie.
