54% of Latino men voting for Trump, as well as his big gains among Latina women, is so depressing. I feel like this Daily Show segment captures this election perfectly:

As shown by this panel and the exit polls, nobody cares about racism, sexism, democracy, the rule of law, it all came down to the economy in the key demographics. So many groups vilified by MAGA voted for a guy who hates them because they think he will make the economy better.

I just realized that I'll be 40 by the time we hopefully get a new President that isn't Donald Trump.

On another note, I think it'll be best to stay away from the news outlets for awhile. The last thing that I need is to watch Trump and his party gloat about this victory.

Black men too. If those early exit polls are accurate, it means that young largely black men did not fall for the same garbage promises as other young men and did not fall for the economic promises that seemed to get so many Latinos to vote for Trump.

Besides going into male and rightwing spaces, Democrats need to advertise more in Spanish. This is something I've harped on before. Every single thing the party leaders do they need to do also in Spanish. And misinformation cannot just be counteracted just in English. I don't care if stupid AI needs to be used to translate but much more has to be done.

I can’t believe we have gone so backwards.

I really thought this was at least going to be a very, very close race. I can’t believe Trump has won by so much. After 4 years in office, the countless lies, the trials, etc etc, I cannot believe people still LOVE this guy. It makes no sense to me at all.

I do think we need a change from Trudeau, but I’m worried after this, that will mean the far right candidate. Scary times
