If the lefties put Trump in office because they were mad at Dick’s daughter, then those snowflakes earned whatever bad things are coming their way. I loathe the modern day MAGA GOP, but I have to give them credit for keeping their coalition of corporate exploiters, Christian identifying evangelicals and cousin humping rural white trash united for the cause of making ‘Merica more like Alabamy.

I'm a socialist who voted for Harris. It wasn't the Lefties that she alienated. It was the liberal leaning working class voters and Arab Americans in Michigan. She listened to Hillary the worst person to listen to instead of just continuing to use Coach Walz and push a more progressive policy agenda beyond keeping the status quo. The margins in the Blue Wall were close (less than 9,000 votes). She ran away from the working class to play to Bush Republicans who as past elections have told us will vote Republican.

I read one article stating that Trump gathered Muslim support by promising an end to the war and I don’t think our two term president is lying. It’s tough for any candidate to overcome that degree of stupidity.

I don’t think the plan of courting traditional Republicans turned off by MAGA was a bad one on its face. The problem is that they overcounted the # of traditional conservatives who have maintained a sliver of morality. That was an error, to be sure, but I question if hanging with Liz did much of anything. The key was overcoming the extremely well organized MAGA disinformation campaign on the economy and the border which the pathetic US electorate greedily lapped up.

You are correct. Kamala was scared of turning off Jewish voters, but I doubt upsetting Bibi supporters by supporting the Palestinian cause would have cost her any electoral votes and could have picked up a few. Likely still not enough to have any impact, but a mistake nonetheless.

I would have had a notable Palestinian and Israeli figure who are pro-ceasefire to speak alongside her on the campaign trail so the Arab American vote wouldn't have been lost.

Fox News and CNN are the top 2 news sources for American viewers over the broadcasting networks. Pair that with the constant far right disinformation on social media platforms and it's a perfect storm to brainwash people.

TYT is on fire which was a direct competitor to the far right on social media. There isn't a centralized network for Leftist media. The Humanist Report left Spotify, David Pakman bled viewers after Harris lost and became a crypto bro, Rational National doesn't get much views, Secular Talk and Breaking Points are too close to the far right populists in some misplaced attempt to try and debate politics civilly.

A big problem with MSNBC as a standard bearer is that the network maintains journalistic standards and does not attempt to misinform its viewers. That’s also true of Last Week Tonight and The Daily Show. Fox and Friends have no such compunction, which gives them a huge advantage in persuading brain addled Sally Housecoat and Joe Meatball.

I thought you MAGAs were all purged from these boards a while ago. For me, voting for Trump after Jan 6 would be like voting for Bin Laden after 9/11. But it’s good to have diverse perspectives.

If his party gets control of both chambers, then yes he will and can get away with a lot. SCOTUS gave him a free pass to do anything as POTUS and not be prosecuted.
