He’s there because Peter Thiel and other tech bros put him there in exchange for more influence peddling and campaign financing from him and Musk and the others.

So Trump "grab them by the *****" comment is taken out of context as it was Trump stating male celeb culture and E. Jean Carroll winning her civil suit did not prove Trump did that to her and that he's a sexual predator for it wasn't a criminal trial. Flight records and photographic evidence does not prove that Trump was close with Epstein. Trump was not responsible for Jan. 6, but the individuals who took his speech literally. This is how MAGA/Independent voters try to sell people on Donald Trump for POTUS.

Okay, I think I see what he's trying to do here. I think he's trying to have a stream of consciousness diarrhea of the mouth moment like Trump normally has at rallies but it doesn't quite have the same effect since he's half Trump's age so any "senior moment" off the cuff remarks are just going to come off as confusing.

Also, after you hit 30, you shouldn't really be admitting that you still drink Mountain Dew, diet or otherwise. After a certain age that's only meant to be enjoyed privately and away from judgmental eyes. :o

I'm not buying.

Kamala's true obstacles are cishet abled white gentile voters.

Fortunately, they are a dwindling group. Last election's was the most diverse and were responsible for the Biden win. We could see even more of that.

It's true that at least on the presidential level the not-white alone/non-Hispanic voter share has been decreasing just as it has in the general population.

The issue is still that many of the swing states that are decisive in the electoral college are deviate significantly from the national average. (These are overall percentages for the states sourced from censusreporter.org, voters percentages are actually higher because minors cannot vote.)

New Hampshire (87% white)
Iowa (83% white)
Wisconsin (79% white)
Minnesota (76% white)
Ohio (76% white)
Pennsylvania (73% white)
Michigan (73% white)
2022 national election average (73% white)
2018 national election average (72% white)
2016 national election average (71% white)
2020 national election average (67% white)
North Carolina (61% white)
national average (58% white)
Arizona (52% white)
Florida (51% white)
Georgia (50% white)
Nevada (44% white)
Texas (39% white)

Texas is only 39% white? 🤯

Yes, please! The more the merrier!

Harris and Biden speak to campaign staff after Democrats top $250 million in contributions, donor pledges [in 24 hours]

In the hours since President Joe Biden announced that he would end his teetering reelection campaign, Harris and the Democratic party have pulled in roughly $250 million in online donations and major donor commitments.

The Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue has processed $106 million in contributions to Democratic candidates since Biden dropped out, according to an automated tracker.

It is not clear yet how much of this money was given to House and Senate campaigns and how much went to the former Biden campaign, rebranded overnight as the Harris’ for President campaign.

Wow! I thought the number was $81m just now? Guess that wasn’t a comparable like-for-like number and this one includes additional sources or something?

Wow, had no idea Texas had a higher percentage Hispanic population than white. Shouldn’t there be a chance long term that it will flip one day then with changing demographics?

Hispanics trend conservative. A lot of minorities do.

Come on Blue Wave!

Ah right. I’d learned they were much more conservative than I’d originally expected years ago, but until seeing these figures I didn’t realise they were net conservative (or that the population in Texas was so high). With making up such a large proportion of the population and it still being known as Republican, I guess that had to be the case, but seem jarring all the same. I wonder if certain policies could help swing some of that vote, unless it’s too deeply entrenched.

Non-Hispanic white voters still outnumber Hispanic voters as minors can't vote and that's where a lot of the next Latino generation is coming from and the elderly die off.

California is also 40% Latino and Democrats already do way better there than in Texas. Latinos aren't a monolith and Florida (famous for too much of the Cuban population there being obsessed with Fidel Castro and somehow Democrats get blamed for him or his ideology), Texas, and California aren't favoring Democrats at the same rate.

“JD Vance is a phony, a fake. The problem is JD Vance has no conviction, but I guess the problem is his running mate has 34.”

Thanks for the info

So the Texas Hispanic population share should go up even more in future years with a large skew towards younger people.

The next time you try to label my people, know of which you speak.

While many do lean conservative, most do not. Conservative beliefs is mainly a WHITE person issue.

Sithborg wasn’t correct. While many Hispanic people are conservative, most are - Democrats.

Since Sithborg tried to lay the blame of Republicans on minorities in general (“a lot” “trend” conservative) , other statistics:

8/10 Black people identify as Democrats.
6/10 Asians identify as Democrats.
8/10 LGBT identify as Democrats.

Meanwhile:

4/10 White people identify as Democrats.
4/10 Straight men identify as Democrats. (4.9 Straight women do)

White people really need to learn to stop blaming minorities for the issues that white people create.
