While I’d say it’s extremist, I wouldn’t call it a “sound” plan at all.
The far right wanted nationwide abortion, what they got instead was pushing women farther to the left, states jumping in to legalize it, and putting Republicans at stake any time it is on the ballot.
They wanted to end affirmative action, their goal was so “successful” that it remains largely in place in all but name only. This is why their rants about affirmative action matches their rants about DEI, all anyone needs to do is change the name. Akin to how their tantrums about “political correctness” morphed into being about “wokeness.” They can’t stop colleges and corporations yearning for a diverse workforce.
Next they’ll institute that all organizations can discriminate against lgbt people for “religious” reasons - only to have the companies that do face backlash and potential bankruptcy in return.
They can try to change what something is called all they want, but what they can’t change is the culture. Thus why all of their plans have thus far been really half-a’d. This is also why the far right are increasingly becoming more violent as well.
If their plans were actually “working” as they want - they wouldn’t be screaming for a war where it’ll largely be old hillbillies versus today’s youth, active troops (most of which in 2016 voted against Trump), and the FBI. It’s obvious how that would end.
