As part of the Republican-led charge towards censorship in schools, meanwhile, Texas has banned more books that address LGTBQ+ issues, race, gender and abortion than any other state.

You may not be allowed to learn about history and topics including black people and LGBTQ+ in school but you can 'learn' how to dodge bullets.

That was exactly the argument of the commentator on the newsclip of this I watched yesterday. Not to mention the general sadness of having to prepare kids that young for a violent gun event. :(
 
I don't blame him. How do you know you haven't enabled the next mass shooter? :(
 
I'd love to see this pass but the GOP and NRA will surely kill it.
 
It won't pass. The Republicans won't allow anything that hinders their primary benefactors (rich people and the NRA).
 
Works foe me! :) Whatever it takes to make them harder to get.
