Interestingly enough, my very conservative (economically conservative, but pro choice/marriage equality/voting rights/etc), Fox watching mother told me that she doesn't watch Hannity or Carlson anymore because she thinks they are completely full of....y'know.

Tucker blames Kamala Harris for why he was pushing pro-Putin propaganda.

A little too petty, disliking everything rather than giving some credit, or at least lack of jab, eventually but in the latter he acknowledged that he felt Biden should do it now as well as should have done so before, that doing so is the right move.

I'll go one better. The vast, VAST majority of our "news" is aimed at selling pampers, insurance, etc in order to make money. You see the news you see because it's aim at, first and foremost, getting viewers. Educating the public is, at best, a secondary goal. It's dangerous and corporate media is NOT your friend. For now, it's "okay", but that beast will turn on people with their "message" if threatened.....and the message only has to be true from the outlet itself.

Of course corporate media has flaws including sensationalism and just profit-seeking generally but in practice the main alternative to corporate media is (echo chamber) partisan media. Of course Fox News is both corporate and partisan so it (plus MSNBC) uniquely has all of both flaws but it's not as if without corporate media there could just be depth and objectivity or as if profit-seeking bias is necessarily the worst bias.

I am not surprised except maybe that the gap was not higher, not that 17 points is nothing.

Never thought Brian Kilmeade could actually make a good point. I'm sure he ruined it later.

The Republicans, China, and Russia's favorite and most watched TV talking head of them all, everybody.

Yes because quick death is preferable and surrender and life under the rule of Putin's sanctioned Russia is not suffering.

Raw Story - Even Russian state TV is shocked at Tucker Carlson -- and think he sounds like a Russian spy: reporter

The difference, of course, being that MSNBC is a news outlet and FOX has never been since the time Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch first dreamed up the idea of a Republican propaganda outlet.
