I grow weary of Black Lives Matters. From the get-go, it seemed like some half-assed, social media activism. There is a reason why MLK, Shuttlesworth, Abernathy, etc got so much done with their well organized, disciplined civil rights groups in the 50's and 60's. .
BLM isn't the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, it isn't even Muslim Mosque, Inc (Malcolm X's group after he left the Nation of Islam). It's a hashtag.
It's a slogan anyone can appropriate. This "movement" has no leadership, no discipline, no coherent political message beyond "racially motivated police violence is bad" and it's accomplished nothing except for getting media attention.
