Jesus. It's amazing, the blind-eye that gets turned to all this anti-semitism stuff flying around this part of the forum.

The old "you can say something about Catholics, but that same barometer applied to a Muslim or Sikh or whatever, hell to pay!" double standard.

Random dude she's met on a train, doesn't know a thing about him, sees the skull-cap and starts ranting about property controversies? Yeah, that's not racist, nothin' to see here. "Religion, not race!" cover, like that makes it any better.

Actually a blind eye would infer there is no debate or even comment occurring and yet any person with a functional optic nerve can see the above post is blatantly false on this and the previous page.

On the other hand this place got the blessing that disingenuous "rhetoric" is perfectly fine months back so, have at it I guess.

Has anyone heard of the story of Marcellus Williams? A man on death row for murder and has NO DNA EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER linking him to the crime?

He was given a stay of execution last year at the 11th hour (Only after Governer Eric Grietens faced a firestorm of angry people on twitter) but just last week Governor Gritens denied countless requests to commute his sentence before retiring from his job.

Why this story isn't making national news headlines baffles me. There's definitely racism involved from the courts here.

Read up on Trump's connection to and public statements about The Central Park Five (Rudy and most Republicans from the time as well come to think of it) and then get back to us with more disingenuous sympathy for miscarriages of justice. Also... I'm betting you are the type that complains often and loudly about BLM or anytime non-White Americans bring up police extrajudicial killings or harassment by law enforcement so spare us your sudden bleeding heart.

What's false about what I said? She gets into an argument with a guy she's never met about a seat on a train, notices he's a Jew from his yarmulke, and goes off on a tangent about people buying up property.

That's clearly unrelated to the seat argument, and has some pretty serious connotations.

Would you start ranting about watermelon & chicken after an altercation with a black guy? It's the same thing.

That's from a Facebook page with a whopping 280 followers. I scrolled through the first 20-30 comments and they're all negative. She very well may have left Instagram because of negativity towards her character in Last Jedi but I don't think this "group" is anything serious.

And let's be clear, the metrics of that page are immaterial given the widespread such sentiments have across social media in regards to SW. No it isn't the majority but its something literally always there when SW is discussed and has to one degree or another even popped up here on the Hype.

Don't really know what it is, never been on facebook, if it's real or not, or what the feud going on there is, but honestly reading that opinion seems so barefaced outrageous, like some perfectly crafted over the top sock-puppet argument, packaging "sound-bytes" and buzzwords so ridiculous to convey the most horrible person(s) imaginable, so some other side can handily argue see how horrible they are.
All accompanied with a crass meme.

I am increasingly disgusted by Star Wars fans (and I don't buy the "it's a small minority of them" argument). I'm not sure if it's better to quit the franchise altogether, or support the movies they're currently making.
