As much as it pains me to speak on behalf of hate groups, I do have to agree with you here. It is dangerous to shut only certain people down. The trick is how do we do things peacefully? Doesn't seem like we can right now.

I mean what are we really talking about here?? Someone punched a nazi in the face...I'll repeat: SOMEONE PUNCHED A NAZI IN THE FACE....BFD. 60 years ago the guy would have gotten a medal.. today the president of america sides with the nazis???? WTF???

There is a difference between punching someone in the face for their beliefs versus punching them for their actions.

Nazis rounded up Jews and killed them. They committed genocide. The asshats in Charlottesville, however deplorable their beliefs may be, are just espousing beliefs.

It may be an unfortunate line of thinking, but unless they commit a crime, there is really nothing anyone can do. And punching them will only turn them into martyrs.

In no way did he endorse the neo-Nazis. He stated that both sides were at fault for resorting to violence, which goes against how you're supposed to solve political disagreements or ugly ideas. Walking up to people and assaulting them because they are saying stuff you disagree with is childish and unlawful. All the fighting and assaulting does is inflame tensions and harden resolves without creating any sort of dialogue to diffuse the situation.

I do think there's a distinction to be made. You can't say he endorsed the Nazis when he outright condemned the Nazis on multiple occasions. He downplayed the actions of the Nazis in favor of bashing the left.

His behavior, and the absolute incongruence between what he says and does - and the fact that he's been caught in lies when people put him on the spot all the time. Not to mention there's like 4 decades of character analysis provided by everyone who had the misfortune to meet him, and almost everyone's assessment seems to be that's he's a compulsively lying narcissist who forces himself on women.

We've seen enough anecdotal evidence to make a relatively solid case that this guy is not fit for office, he's been a lying piece of **** his entire life according to the testimony of more people than you can shake a stick at.

I mean, logically, shouldn't a president that can't even remain consistent in his tweets be dropped like a bad habit? America basically has a senile and incompetent version of Gordon Gekko at the wheel, surely that's dangerous for the average American.

No, he wanted to place them on an even playing field. If the Nazi are bad, you are bad to for hating Nazis. And thus the hate is real for the poor racist. And considering he has made his racism very clear on multiple occasions, it obvious what he is doing.

Also Trump is not a good liar to non-idiots and evil people who want to eat it up. It is obvious what he means, what he is saying, because he does the same exact thing every time he lies. When the media gets to close to the truth, he does the same exact thing. You see it with Russia, his racism, his sexual assaults, his lies about how rich he is, everything.

I understand what you are saying. What I would say is he will endorse whatever he thinks works, and his reasoning for it doesn't matter when it is white nationalism. Also, at best he has has no love for minorities, but I'd say he has shown himself to be pretty racist through his business practices.

how do you diffuse a situation with organizations like white supremacists and nazis....two groups whos history involves murder, terror and subjugation.... just tell me what kind of conversation can say a black man or a jewish man have that will diffuse the issue with these people??
