I was watching some coverage on Moore's win with interviews of locals. All the people had the same standing that Moore was a good conservative and that's why they voted for him. At that point it struck me that when they were saying "conservative" it seemed that like they were saying "white Christian".

I don't like to read into things too much but in this instance it seemed like the word "conservative" was used as a coded language. It also brings into question the praise by Trump that Roy Moore is a good guy. Really Mr. President, is Roy Moore really a good guy given his views on just about everything. The guy, despite being a judge, doesn't even understand the intent of the Constitution and the rule of law.

Dems flipped 2 senate seats in special elections today.

So far they have flipped 8 seats in special elections.

Moore is a godsend to the Democrats, even if he wins the Senate runoff(which given it's happening in Alabama chances are pretty good) he can be used as the guy you point to about Republicans Values. He probably will say alot of stupid things over the next 3 months and Republicans will have to answer for it(ie do you agree with Moore)

I don't see how pointing out their obscenity helps. Some Americans actually like the open calls for bigotry and Christian sharia.

Yeah. Moore isn't a god send to Democrats. This is adding another insane person into governing the nation.

I agree, we are beyond shaming Republicans. They don't have any. And any hopes that this is a tipping point where you can point and say "See, this is how bad they are" I think was passed along time ago. If they aren't convinced how evil they are by now, they aren't getting convinced.

Yeah. Moore isn't a god send to Democrats. This is adding another insane person into governing the nation.

Agreed. Moore could end up hurting a lot of people and ruining a lot of lives while in office.

Their 9 page tax plan is idiotic. Eliminating a lot of those deductions is going to hurt a lot of people. Primarily in blue states, so I guess as planned.

Yeah I was at that point a while ago.

Roy Moore said:
“God is sovereign over our government, over our law. When we exclude 'Him' from our lives, exclude 'Him' from our courts, then they will fail We've forgotten that God is intimately connected with this nation. Without God there would be no freedom to believe what you want."

Im not sure that Roy knows the definition of "freedom". He says God gives us freedom to believe what we want, but Roy wants to force his own deranged beliefs on everyone else. Thats not freedom or belief. Thats religious tyranny.

Roy Moore said:
“There is no such thing as evolution,” he said at one point as he waited for his lunch. Species might adapt to their environment, he continued, but that has nothing to do with the origins of life described in the Bible. “That we came from a snake?” he asked rhetorically. “No, I don’t believe that.”

See this is the kind of ignorant **** that drove me away from church. I got tired of uninformed preachers using their pulpit to spread misinformation and BS about evolution and science. In no peer reviewed paper about evolution nor in any reputable book will you find a statement saying we "came from a snake".

Entire party in a nutshell

It needs to show the person pouring more water onto the drowning person. More water would have protected them.

It’s like those ridiculous videos Kirk Cameron does trying to debunk evolution while making it painfully obvious he doesn’t even understand what it is.

Schloss, you've obviously never heard of the banana, aka the atheist's nighmare.

I am not sure what's funnier about that video. The guy putting the banana in his mouth claiming that god made it so it fits perfectly in your mouth(which looks like he he performing oral sex) or the fact they to stupid to realize that god didn't create a banana(humans basically cultivated plantains to "evolve" into a banana)

The rights fascination with George Soros and Saul Alinsky(who is dead) is hilarious. It's one thing to complain that Soros spends way to much money on political causes, it's another to think he is some evil genius who is sitting behind his desk organizing all these rallies and paying protesters

unfortunately this view has drifted into certain African American social circles, more specifically staunchly pro-black (male) ideologists and otherwise militant-sympathetic, anti-white-supremacy sorts who nonetheless have accepted the meme that Soros and similarly minded white liberals are bankrolling the various individual factions of BLM and encouraging female-only, lesbian-centric leadership in its ranks.

Jeez... This guy used to be a player. How sad... For society I mean. Cuz he even admits to helping to create a climate of paranoia and polarization that made a Trump win possible.

I feel like Glenn Beck was always a nutcase, but ever since he became anti-Trump nobody listens to him.

As for healthcare..this is a true American tragedy.
