Like back in Disney's original everyone seemed scared ****less that he was back. But now it just looks like he's just the one in charge and he just doesn't like humans. Which i think ties back into Kipling's original stories

whats wrong with the voices? its like the sound effect team made sure that everyone recognizes the actors based on the voice.

there is no way this is how they will sound in the movie.

The CGI looks amazing. But that's the issue. The animals are so realistic that them talking kinda looks...strange.

This trailer was a big step down from the teaser. The cgi is really good, but the voices arent mixing well with the animals. They better work that out or this thing is going to be a hot mess.

Something tells me it's too late to do anything about the voices. If the animals have no character or personality to them then this is going to sink like a lead balloon. For Disney, of all companies, to screw up with the voice work is kinda unforgivable.

yeah I was coming to say the same thing. Or at least for Bill Murray as Baloo.

Murrays going to put the same amount of effort he put into voicing Garfield

Which is minimal at best

They should have cast voice actors that rarely do these things

Lucky we don't have a Seth rogen or jack black voicing the animals

I am utterly baffled by the negative responses. Looks like it could be fun, and funny, and I think the point is to have the voices be incongruous with the visuals of these realistic animals. Mowgli can understand them perfectly and the voices match the personalities the animals would have if they were human characters. If this were not a CGI adaptation with a human child filmed live action, but instead, a different story with the same type of archetypes each animal character is then a lot of that casting would be spot on.
