Looks great. Though I'm not entirely sold on Scarjo as Kaa yet.

It felt like one of those instances where you can see the difference between a regular actor doing voice work and a professional voice actor.

Looks really good. I'll be checking out both versions.

There is something profoundly hilarious about Bill Murray, in bear form, drifting down a lazy river whistling a happy tune.

And there's something profoundly terrifying about Scarlett Johansson's voice coming out of a big-ass snake. Plus it makes the whole "trust in me" thing seem a lot more credible/believable.

After "Her", I cant imagine Scarjo not being good at voice work.

I thought she was fine in the trailer.

This looks really good! Disney is on a roll with their live action adaptations.

Although I prefer the cast of the WB one, I highly doubt that that will top this in quality and quantity (B.O.). Hah I just realize that it's like a DC vs Marvel showdown with WB and Disney distributing them. :funny:

I feel like Maleficent was mediocre, but after Cinderella and what we know of BatB, I am definitely on board for this.

Mowgli looks like he's been taken directly from the animated classic. Guess that was the point.

Aren't there TWO live action films from early to mid 90s? One of them had an adult Mowgli, right?

He's whistling "The Bare Necessities."

Black Widow vs. Batman!

Disney is not gonna angst up their own property remake. Serkis may do that with his, but this is for fans of the original flick right here.

Well Mowgli looks spot-on. I'm not sure how I feel about the realistic cgi animals yet though! I mean it looks really interesting but seeing the story with animals that look real is gonna be pretty crazy.

People aren't allowed to change their opinions?
he didnt change his opinion. he hates movies with so much amount of CGI. he spend the whole summer explaining why almost all movies should be like Force Awakens and Fury Road. filmned as much on location as possible and only using CGI if necessary. they filmed everything with the young actor on stages in LA. this movie has tons of CGI. but because its from Disney who owns Marvel(which he is a big fan) he likes it.

now of course the wrong response would be ''hey should they filmed in africa with that little boy? '' now of course not. how about filmind on locations outside where they at least use real sun and real soil and grass?

Sherekhan is going to be one scary SOB for kids. Hell his scenes look intense even for me

King Loui looks more scary to me. he looks huge.

Favs said he made him a giant orangutan. You saw him when he swiped at Mowgli.

Yeah orangutan's are nowhere near that size. But I guess its possible that Fav based Loui's size on how imposing he would seem to the mind of a child alone in a jungle.

Much ado about nothing if you ask me.

Maybe it's a case-by-case basis that he forms his opinions just like anyone else. Why do you even care anyway?

I thought the story was supposed to take place in India.

i like reading Faraci. but what he wrotte today made me angry.

I only know of one movie, with Jason Scott Lee as adult Mowgli. He was young in the beginning of the movie though I believe.
