Disney Reviving 'Chip 'n Dale' for a Live-Action Feature

really looking forward to this - first I thought, this is unnecessary. But I love The Lonely Island and think it could be a great fit.

Looks like a weird but funny take on it with Lego Movie metaness. The only jarring thing is hearing Mulaney and Samberg's regular voices. I thought they'd have sped up the pitch Alvin and the Chipmunks-style.

And is that Eric Bana as Monterey Jack? LOL

Yeah if this delivers it could have ended up being a hit in theaters.

This is looking like the spiritual successor to Who Framed Roger Rabbit

LOVE it! Great cast and interesting premise

This is the best way to do such a movie.
I knew it was in the right hands with the Lonely Island

Are they still ****ing, do we think? Is Disney brave enough to acknowledge it? Do they half a litter of half cartoon cat, half human kids running around?

The people need to know.

Also need to know if the CATS have the buttholes or not.

I keep seeing people on social media acting really mean towards this movie when they don't seem to pick up on the fact this is meant to be a satire. Did they not see Popstar? That movie was a straight-up scathing parody of vapid music celebrities like Justin Bieber while also making fun of stuff like boy bands and humblebrag songs. It got a following for a reason (I've seen it on a bunch of underrated movies list) The Lonely Island can be REALLY clever with stuff like this and Rescue Rangers looks no different. Don't take a somewhat wonky trailer at face value.

I love the dig at the movie Cats.

I’m expecting a Darkwing Duck cameo since they also referenced Ducktales

Okay sold. I definitely want to see this now.

I was not expecting this take at all. Definitely looking forward to it now.

Ok I just watched the trailer and I think the movie looks great. The beginning took me back with clips from the cartoon show.

Oh man, all the so called Disney purists on Facebook have been insufferable because this movie is nothing like the original show

Uh…that’s the point!
