Disney Reviving 'Chip 'n Dale' for a Live-Action Feature

I keep seeing people on social media acting really mean towards this movie when they don't seem to pick up on the fact this is meant to be a satire. Did they not see Poster? That movie was a straight-up scathing parody of vapid music celebrities like Justin Bieber while also making fun of stuff like boy bands and humblebrag songs. It got a following for a reason (I've seen it on a bunch of underrated movies list) The Lonely Island can be REALLY clever with stuff like this and Rescue Rangers looks no different. Don't take a somewhat wonky trailer at face value.
It seems like there's a lot of Disney fans mad that the property isn't being "properly respected." Years of 'member berries have ruined film discourse

Anyway, this looks like a lot of fun, I'll definitely be catching it.

lol I do have to wonder if the internet existed as it does now in the 80s, there’d be a hoard of classic Chip n Dale fans upset with the Rescue Rangers cartoon series for ruining Chip n Dale by giving them jobs and not simply harassing Donald and Pluto.

Honestly not watching this after seeing that trailer. Not at all what I was hoping for. Oh well.

This looks like a lot of fun, but I can also see it overstaying its welcome lol

Definitely giving me Roger Rabbit vibes which I’m here for. If Disney can’t showcase their huge library of characters, then what’s the point?

Should be interesting to see Lonely Island trying to be PG.

I had no idea this was going to be a thing untill like a month ago when I saw a poster and I thought it was going to be a animated movie not live action so news to me lol. Not sure how I fell about the voices in this movie. I hope its good.

The Movie was good.

Very much the spiritual successor to Roger Rabbit.

Will advise that outside of Chip and Dale, the other Rescue Rangers are not in it much.
Monty has a cheese addiction that's an analogy for coke & Gadget married Zipper the Fly and had 42...yes 42 kids.

Hats off to Disney's legal department because boy howdy they must of went through HELL to broker the deals to make this film.

Also the Sonic Sweep continues.

Haven’t watched this yet, but rule of thumb, stay off of Twitter and YouTube the weekend of a film’s opening unless you watch it at midnight the day of its release because people love posting spoilers! Already got a major cameo ruined for me.

As someone who believed in this working from Day One, it's great to hear the glowing reviews. Can't wait to watch it.

Also Instagram. People love posting pictures spoiling stuff.

I just watched the movie. I loved it, it's great! I wouldn't have thought Disney would ever make something like this, but they did, and it works :applaud

Skip the YouTube reviews before watching the movie, they reveal way too much.

Saw this this Morning and Really actually enjoyed it. The Cameo that really surprised me is one that I never even thought would show up a Disney Movie.

I'm watching this tonight then. I was hoping it was going to be good.

I laughed so hard, when the Cats cats were fighting in that backyard, I almost peed.
Also ugly Sonic bitting himself with those teeth.
