Disney's Frozen - Part 1

I suppose, but being as how this is Disney's official representation of the characters, the least they could do is get Elsa's hair color right!

You'd think somebody at the studio that created the movie would know she's a platinum blonde.

and it's not just that live actress portrayal, but in some of the merchandise as well ( books, toys, clothing, etc. ).

Elsa has more silver white hair than platinum blonde.

That's why I really believe, at some point, Elsa officially had silver/white hair. at least official enough for them to send that to the merchandising/promo people.

I'd imagine that the next "waves" of merchandising will be more accurate in hair color.

especially by the time Elsa and Anna officially join the princess lineup and get added to the site and get their "2d makeovers."

That scene before the lighting of the lanterns. The expression on the father's face really got to me.

Mine favorite scene of them was the look that they gave each other right before they saw Repunzel as a teenager for the first time. Worry, hesitation, hope, etc. It was all there. The Queen's reaction when she recognizes Repunzel as her daughter was also excellently done.

Wow, I didn't even really notice Rapunzel's parents had no speaking line. That has never crossed my mind. Good job, Disney animation.

And yeah, when the see their daughter for the first time as a teenager it made me feel all warm in the inside as I was tearing up.

Superb.

I know!!

Those scenes with the parents were so touching and emotional.

Not one word was spoken during the reunion between parents and daughter and not one word was needed.

One reason why Tangled is in my top 3 of Disney films!!

Tangled is my favorite Disney film. It may not be the best but it is the film that really got me back into Disney (plus a trip to Disney World).

Tangled is severely overrated.

I finally saw Frozen. it's a terrific movie with some good characters and great music. I don't consider it groundbreaking but it didn't need to be. The only thing I didn't like was the troll's "Fixer Upper" song.

I agree. I don't care if it's groundbreaking, I only care about the fact that Disney is back in it's groove.

I don't know about "ground breaking" but the film certainly had far more well rounded female characters than Brave.

Tangled was good. I mean Frozen was better, but Tangled was a step in the right direction.

I also preferred Tangled to Brave.

Disney Animation's recent films are better than Pixar's last three films .

Screw Hans, Team Eugene! :argh:

^ awesome!!

I always love the "making of" features.

felt Tangled's DVD was a bit lacking on that, though....

hopefully Frozen's will offer more detail.

I'm surprised Disney is dropping 3D Blu-rays. I guess it's not successful.

And yeah, I wish we got more Special Features for Tangled. Thankfully Frozen seems to be better in that department.

they better get Elsa's hair color on the Blu-Ray cover right.........:o :argh:
