Oh thank goodness. My theater just posted the times for the next week and they'll still be playing regular Frozen alongside the sing-along version.

Go to the sing along one and sing! :argh:

I don't want to hear anyone singing over Let It Go.

Though I have set aside a bit of money in case I want to go see it again, possibly in sing along form...

And yay, I'll get to see it in 3D due to different showtimes.

Don't worry Idina will silence them with her voice. :o

My nearest theater has it. It's an extra showing, Frozen was down to 3 shows there last week, but the Sing-a-long is a 4th showtime. Looking at other theaters, all the sing-a-long shows appear to be 2D.

I think we may see more musical movies from Disney in the future, thanks to Frozen.

I'm hoping Moana will be. That's the next Disney film I'm looking forward to. The art style sounds especially interesting.

Tuesday numbers are up:

$901,782 - +37% - $349,458,295

Really impressive and unpredictable run for Frozen. Movies aren't supposed to go up compared to earlier weeks unless they get an expansion or a Holiday boost, and Frozen has neither this week, in fact it's playing on 222 fewer screens, but last Tuesday was 751k, and 2 Tuesdays ago it was 976k.
The legs on this beast are amazing.

Is that the Pacific Island one??

I'm still waiting for Princess Kida to be inducted as an official princess........:o

Looks like Disney wants people to practice for the sing-a-long, Disneyanimation has uploaded the sing-a-long version of Let it Go

Yep, that's the one. After Tangled and Frozen (wasn't a fan of PatF), I cannot wait to see their next princess movie.

yeah.

and aren't they doing a Jack and the Beanstalk adaptation, too?

maybe they will make that into another princess movie musical.

but, with Moana, if that's an original story, it will be interesting to see how it does, since it's not based on a well known fairy tale.

Yeah. Giants. Disney loves it's single word titles now for fairy tales. XD

Careful we don't want to exhaust The Revival, Disney got big heads after The Big Four and although they were well done the films afterwards didn't live up to expectations and pretty much oversaturated the brand. Of course the copycats from Bluth and Warners didn't help.

it certainly seems so..........lol.

makes you wonder what the classic films like Little Mermaid and Beauty and The Beast would be called..........

yeah.

and that's why I'm a little worried about Moana, since it doesn't seem to be based on a fairy tale.

once Disney started deviating from that formula, they started getting into trouble.

but......we shall see........
