Yeah, that's Pitch from Rise of the Guardians and he is the villain.

I heard his name is Pitch from Rise of the Guardians. I haven't seen that movie so I can't verify it. He's also a villain apparently.

I just saw it yesterday and thought it was awesome. Had a chat with the parents and I think I talked them into seeing it today!

I love Elsa and the effects are amazing. Someone on twitter said it's their favourite xmen film and I can really understand what they mean.

I can't wait for the next Disney princess movie. I better get the soundtrack

Annie Awards winners

Disney’s Frozen was on fire tonight at the 41st Annie Awards and now is generating real heat for the upcoming Academy Awards. Having made more than $810 million at the box office since its late-November release, the 3D fantasy musical snagged 5 Annies tonight. Frozen won Best Animated Feature, Best Directing for Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Best Music, Production Design and a Voice Acting win for Josh Gad. who also was a presenter. Whether this will translate into Oscar gold remains to be seen. Last year’s big Annie winner, Wreck-It Ralph, which Lee co-wrote, ended up losing the Best Animated Feature Oscar to Pixar’s Brave. However, the 2012 Annie Feature winner Rango did win at the Oscars that year.

“We haven’t even started talking about a sequel yet,” Frozen co-director Jennifer Lee told me before the ceremony started. “We’ve talked about the Broadway musical but not a sequel. No one’s even mentioned it,” said Lee, who just flew in today from a promotional visit to Tokyo.

Now realistically. This is Disney and this movie has made $815 million and it will most likely cross the 1 billion mark.

Aren't the chances for a sequel astronomical at this point? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they decide to move forward on that.

Well, unlike other animated studios the movies made by Disney Animation don't usually get sequels, and I don't think they should do it unless they have a great story to tell. Frozen isn't like Shrek, who didn't mind churning out sequels after sequels and watched its quality drop drastically. I think Disney will think about it long and hard before greenlighting Frozen 2.

I completely agree. This movie is special. Like really special.

To the point where it doesn't need a sequel and should go down as one of the Disney "classics". I know it's still relatively fresh but there's no doubt in my mind this will be remembered fondly.

I think Frozen has already became a modern classic, not just by beating Lion King's B.O. (and not far behind the #1 Disney/Pixar animated movie, Finding Nemo), but also because it's garnering so many awards and still having such durability at the box office after its 7th week. There will always be Disney earning off this for generations to come with endless merchandise, animated commercials, theme park attractions, video game tie-ins, appearances on whatever the next form of "House of Mouse," is, etc.

For that reason, I truly hope they leave this film undiluted. Sure, Disney shamelessly cranked out soulless DTV movies in the '90s, but that is little different than a toy line to them. Nobody really remembers those movies. The lasting nostalgia remains for the real classics that stand untouched in most's minds.

My hope is Frozen continues that trend.

Frozen increased this week over the previous week with no new openers.

That's mighty impressive, considering the fact that there were at least 3 new movies opened this week, and this is Frozen's 8th week released in the US. I would've love it if Frozen can beat Ride Along, but that movie is only on its 3rd week and nowhere close to Frozen's accomplishment. Unfortunately, the Lego Movie is out next week, and will probably steal a sizable chunk of Frozen's young audience, so it will likely lose a significant percentage, but 400 mil domestic is still within reach.

it could very well beat DM2's $368m by the end of next week. and if not next week, certainly the week after!!

sooooo.........I had the most frightening dream last night.

I dreamt that in the Frozen sequel, Elsa decides to hold a grand BDay bash at her Ice Palace.

so she hires Pinkie Pie to plan the party and decorate the place.

oh.....and Anna somehow clones herself into multiple Annas.........
