Frozen has replaced Kung Fu Panda 2 as the highest-grossing animated movie in SK, as well as replaced Les Miserables as the highest-grossing musical movie as well.

It's close to doubling KFP2, and as of today it officially passed Iron Man 3 as the 2nd biggest Hollywood movie ever in SK, only Avatar is higher, and that is also the all time SK boxoffice champ. Currently Frozen is #13, but will be #11 by the weekend.

In China, on Wednesday Frozen did 6.5m Yuan, that gives it 212m Yuan total, officially becoming the biggest Disney/Pixar movie ever in China.
Friday showtimes have Frozen at 8.1% of showings, that's actually an increase over last Friday. Should end up with about $45m US, with a chance at $50m if it hangs on longer than Feb.27.

Idina Menzel Won't Just Wake Up And Sing 'Let It Go' At The Oscars

When did you realize that "Let It Go" had taken on this life of its own?
For the last month, every morning I wake up and someone has sent me a video of their child dressed as Elsa singing the song -- whether it's someone I know or don't know. It's hard for me to take any credit -- it's Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez's writing, and the whole way the song is packaged into the film -- but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm excited and proud. I just brought my own experience to the song: being a woman and how women are sort of afraid of our own power sometimes. It's maybe scary to unleash that power. You think you're going to alienate people. Yet most of the time, I've learned in my life now, when I've finally really relinquished that inside me, I think it's really special and so many more doors open up.

It's also cool to see that Idina is a big fan of U2 and Bono as well.
