people aren't born gay otherwise there wouldn't be any switches. I knew a guy in his fifties who was married and had nine kids, he eventually divorced his wife and became homosexual.

a lot of people that get in prison start beliving in god,people who have almost died,.... and so on. or for example people who were taking hard drugs. then they get clean and voila tehy start beliving in god. i saw a DOC weeks ago about a girl. she was really on hard drugs for years. she was stealing and she almost killed a boy. then she got clean. now she 100% belives in alah. she is even wearing all the clothes. IMO she become a fanatic.

a more accurate interpretation would be a young man being tried in court, and the judge was his father... there are witnesses and proof of the young man committing a crime, and even video evidence of him committing the crime.

You forgot to mention that the crime is failing to love his father. Do you see why that's ridiculous? We don't send people to jail for having done no wrong. That would be evil. Your God is evil for sending people to hell for having done no wrong. Again: why do you worhsip evil?

I think God spoke and caused the Big Bang. I fail to see how the Big Bang theory cancels out God when no one has explained how the Big Bang well.. banged. I think God did it just as I believe he plotted out our evolution slowly, over a great many years.

This brings up an interesting point. Assuming that the universe in not just an amazing waste of space, and that there other intelligent life out there, who do they worship?

I wouldn't be surprised if they worshiped a God as we do and that that God came to visit them in their same lifeform, died, and was Ressurected or something along those lines.

Why should people say sorry for something that they have no choice of... something, in fact, that God, if He exists, made them like?

Not according to "true" Christians.

It is my belief that God made some of us gay according to his "plan" and not as a bad thing either. We don't always "see" what God intends and I think we misinterpret a lot. I think folks are gay because God wanted them way therefore they should be free to live that way so long as they do so morally as consenting adults.

None of this addresses anything I've said. Offering not to murder someone for committing a crime that shouldn't be a crime is not a gift--especially when the price is adherence to a moral code with no justification, and obedience to an evil God.

Well, I'm pretty sure the first step in those 12 step programs is to give yourself over to a higher power (preferably the Christian God). Personally feels like substituting one addiction for another.

One should only apologize if one has done something wrong. God demands an apology for homosexuality? Why? What does homosexuality cost God? God demands an apology for lack of faith? I think they do it because if you really think God loves you and cares for you in spite of all the crappy things you've done, it can feel a lot less lonely out there which can make recovery easier. I just don't think it should be forced. If you believe, great, if not, it won't be the reason you fail the program (if they do fail, I mean). I think a person can overcome addiction without the belief in a higher power, but for some, it helps to have that to hold on to.

I know what Atheism is. Ok you do not attempt to know anything about how the world began because no one will ever know.

The most logical way to believe in my opinion is that God created the world, It is just to darn intricate for there not to be a creator.

In relation to how the world got here I believe that no entity created it. Don't hash out semantics though. I have a lot of firm beliefs.

Even if the guy really was a homosexual if this scenario is true than it is kind of disgusting no matter what because he had nine kids and then just up and left.

Going by your thoughts the guy should never have married a women in the first place and should most definitely not have had children much less nine and then up and leave them.
