I was having a conversation with my brother about psychics, and whether or not he believed in it.

he said he didnt untill he went to one in his freshman year in college. she predicted alot that happened to him afterwards.

one thing she mentioned to him was that he was going have heart issues and that he was going to be in the hospital for a long time but he would have a long life. so i asked him if he regrets going to one since he fears this might happen but he said he didnt.

its hard to tell whether or not psychics are real, but i believe in them.
like lisa williams and silvia brown. but they are considered mediums.

Sylvia Browne is an ugly full of **** hag.

Psychics = full of s*** :down

All of them.

let me ask you this, is your cousin in good shape... or is he fat? because i could tell most fat people on the planet, that they will have heart problems sooner or later, and they wouldn't have to pay a psychic.

No my brother is in good shape, hes an athlete. so he believed it since hes in good condition and she was right about everything else she mentioned to him. he isnt the kind of person that believes in anything magic-ish so i was really surprised when he said he did believe in them.

i wanna go to a psychic but after hearing that from him, i wouldn't want
to know how i would die, or have them tell me if someone will die around me
because that would just leave me paranoid for the rest of my life.

Telekinetic, this may sound harsh and you probably won't see it this way, but what the psychic "predicted" could have been mere coincidence.

i also consider that too, but she timed how long he lasted with his current girlfriend of 6years, that he would injure himself in baseball and never play again and that our parents would have issues and some other stuff.

i think it was more than just a coincidence, but i guess youll never know.

also the fact that heart disease is a big problem for men

psyhicics are all genius's who excel at there art...the art of taking cash away from stupid, gullible people who have too much money...I hate what they stand for, but if you buy into them, you deserve everything you get, which in most cases is nothing more than a much lighter pocketbook.

I don't believe in physics.

In general, I do think that most "psychics" are full of crap. Nonetheless, I read Tarot, mostly on myself, NOT because I really think I'm reading the future -- 19 out of 20 readings make absolutely NO sense -- but becuse it gives me another perspective. The other one out of 20 readings, actually does make a lot of sense, and like I said before, I think it's a coincidence, but nonetheless, that completely unexpected result jogs something in your mind that really helps you to think about a situation in a new light.

That may be true in some cases, but I hate when they take advantage of the vulnerable.

BTW- this Silvia Brown person makes Criswell look accurate.

For a second I thought the title of this thread said physics

Commercial psychics that read your fortune are 99.99999% bogus. Now pyschics that work with the police and the government, that's a whole different story.

No, they're still bogus. Ever seen the show psychic detectives? First hand example of Cold Reading. Which is sad, because even police men have been fooled before.
