I hope that isn't the finished look either. As is, it look doesn't make a great first impression. Mickey looks like he's wasted (even more than usual) and the outfit looks thrown together by the props department after they went dumpster diving.

Well they wanted to show those Russian prison tattoos so thats why he's shirtless.

I just can't help thinking it be stupid for it to be his final costume considering how easy it is for Stark to blow someones brains out.

Well, I didnt like the picture at all, it looked really corny and cheap looking for one, and how is he meant to put up a fight to Iron Man when most of his flesh is exposed? One blast from Iron Man and he would out of the fight.

I'm hoping my theory of Whiplash evolving into Crimson Dynamo in the duration of the movie is true.

Honestly, he needs to be in something akin to the Green Goblin suit as far as durability. Don't want it to come off as another Iron Man suit, but have it be more form fitting at least.

The hero's alway look pretty close to the original design but when it comes to villains it seem like they refuse to follow the CB.

I think it looks pretty awesome but I'm doubting it's what we'll see by the end of the movie. As is this is a pretty awesome looking mercenary. The toothpick and tats make the look even cooler.

Well when we see the costume I'll let you know if I like it. The pic that came out today isn't the final version of "The Costume", it's just an early design. Kinda like the Mark I from IM1.

One thing bugs me. When he uses those whips there is a chance he could hit himself provided the whips lengthen and shorten. Whiplash wins the DARWIN award for most ill conceived super villain outfit...

As other have said. It is in no way the finished costume!
However, it looks like Whiplash is about to cause some trouble. Say destroy the F1 cars and kill their drivers as they speed towards him. Tony stands helpless in the stands because the Iron Man armor is still back at his mansion.
