Do you like your name?

Maceo(my middle name) isn't on there :csad:
Shaun on another site was said to mean "God is Gracious"

Though, one baby name site stated that Maceo is a variation of 'Mace"(heavy staff or club) but it also made mention that "Mace" is Latin for Aromatic Spice:huh:

Not sure how accurate that is...

KEVIN
Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, Irish

Pronounced: KEV-in [key]

Anglicized form of the Irish name Caoimhín, derived from the older Irish Coemgen, composed of the Old Irish elements coem "kind, gentle, handsome" and gein "birth". Saint Caoimhin established a monastery in Ireland and is the patron saint of Dublin.
Well... Kevin is kool, I guess, but it's wrong. I am nowhere near handsome, but whatever.:woot:

Yeah, I've always thought my name suited me very well. "Andrea" means "very feminine." I get tired of having my name mispronounced, but other than that I think it's pretty.

my name is spelt differently to yours, I like your spelling tho
:D

My name's not actually Aiden. That's my middle name. My proper name is Matthew...Cool coincedince though

I like my name. "Bradford Allen (last name omited)" sounds like a nice sofisticated name, and being that I hope to be a writer some day, it fits. It's also not very common. I actually just met another Bradford for the first time at my new job, and I'm his first Bradford. I go by Brad, which I also like.

I was named after some dude my mom thought was cute on a soap opera

NICHOLAS

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, French

Pronounced: NI-ko-las (English), nee-ko-LA (French) [key]
From the Greek name Νικολαος (Nikolaos) which meant "victory of the people" from Greek νικη (nike) "victory" and λαος (laos) "people". Saint Nicholas was a 4th-century bishop from Anatolia who, according to legend, saved the daughters of a poor man from lives of prostitution. He is also known as Santa Claus (from Dutch Sinterklaas), the bringer of Christmas presents. He is the patron saint of children, sailors and merchants, and Greece and Russia. Nicholas was also the name of two czars of Russia and five popes.

Justin

I like my name. It suits me for some reason. My sense of humor is a really big part of my self identity, and it makes sense I wouldn't have a very serious sounding name. There's never going to be a president Justin. or CEO Justin. I'd have to go as J. David. If I do become CEO, I'll keep Justin, just cause it makes me sound like a CEO that would skateboard through work, and say "narly" and wear t-shirts. I know it originally comes from Justinus and Justus, and there was Justin Martyr, a saint. Guess people took him seriously enough.

My name is fine. I'm glad I'm not called something like, DJ. No offense to the people that are named DJ, but it's just a weird name. I mean, come on, DEEEEE JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. Djdjdjdjdjdj!

My first name is boring and common, but in comparison to what my parents were gonna name me, I suppose I can live with it. My last name is good though.

I like my name a lot. My dad wanted to name me George and my mom wanted to name me Edward. I'm glad that they changed thier minds.

I like my name, my biggest problem is that there are multiple different ways to pronounce it or to spell it. My version of the spelling of my name used to be fairly uncommon, but seems to have become more common in recent years. I received an e-mail attachment Yournamedictatesyourjob.xls - it was funny, my first name on it's own came out with "Porn Star", my married last name on it's own came out with "Stripper", but the two together got me "Puppeteer"... so who's strings shall I pull today? ;)
