Kevin Feige recently stated that he'd like to see them brought over, however do you think the X-Men universe which is pretty massive on its own could work between what Marvel has been planning out so far?

Nope. I don't want Feige anywhere near the X-men.

Not the existing X-men, it would require a total reboot of X-men. You need some explanation on how mutants show up in the MCU, and you've got QS and SW that would have to be explained into that scenario.

No.

Not because I dislike what Fox is doing with them

And not because I don't think Marvel would do them justice.

Purely because I like X-Men separate from the rest of the Marvel U. I think they should do it in the comics too.

I would love to but at the moment the x-franchise seems quite healthy so it's not as much of a priority

I'd like some of the X-Men characters in the MCU - Wolverine, Magneto, Professor X, Beast, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Shadowcat and Jean Grey.

The last few X-Men movies have been great, with DOFP being better than any MCU movie do far for me (not seen AOU though) so keep them where they are.

I really don't want he X-Men in the comics Marvel universe at this point. Marvel has walled them off from the rest of the universe so much that they're more like a terrorist group than a superhero team.

The only X-Men that I think could ever fit into the MCU would be Wolverine of course and Storm realistically because of the Black Panther connection but then they would in all likelihood have to reboot the X-Men franchise completely from scratch just to include

Mutants don't seem to fit. Mutants are supposed to have been around for a while, doesn't make any sense for them to spring up now. The Inhumans seem to take their place. If the X-men ever do come into the MCU I would guess that they'll be Non-royal family Inhumans instead of mutants.

No. There really is no way to fit the X-Men mythos in the MCU, as it exists. You'd need to completely reboot and rewrite reality, and I don't want that to happen. Also, I kind of hate the majority of the X-tropes, as they range from sadly overdone to noxious.

One virtue to them using the Inhumans as ersatz mutants, I suppose, is that Marvel Studios will be a lot freer to adjust and adapt out the worst elements. You can have fear about 'inhumans' as a plot point while readily going "And in the end of the story, hope will clearly win out over fear". That's a lot tougher to do under the shadow of the X.

No, not at this point. It's too late.

Yes but not in its current Fox-men state.

There's are reason they barely turn a profit.

I like the xmen being separate, I'd rather bring the FF back first if given the choice.

You would only need to reboot X-Men and establish a connection with the Avengers (Beast & Wolverine) so that they trust the x-men to handle things when a mutant villain arises. But in all honesty I think the two universes probably should remain seperate just because the X-Men universe has such a wealth of locations and mythology that it stands on its own well.

I'd sure be fun but I want the Fantastic Four in the MCU more, since I have faith in Bryan Singer still to make good movies.

Not particularly. The Inhumans are fine as a substitute, and I would rather see new characters introduced than try to mash the mutants into the MCU.

As much as I love the X-Men and consider them probably the best franchise Marvel has, I have to agree with the general consensus here that it's a bad idea to try to integrate them.

Honestly, I would argue that it is a mistake to integrate them with any other franchises at all, even in the comics, because X-Men's themes are built around a world hyperaware and very reactive to mutants specifically.

And I'd love to see F4 in the MCU, because if nothing else the split between Reed and Susan in Civil War would be great in the CA:CW movie as well.
