Do you think Marvel Studios Will Reboot The X-Men or Keep The Current Franchise

What do you think

Some people in the Dark Phoenix thread are adamant that not only will Marvel continue Singer-Men but they'll also bring over Kinberg and all the usual suspects from the Fox movies. :loco:

One thing the MCU X-Men could definitely do with out is writers/directors from the previous X-Men movies ...

... the messy continuity and lack of co-ordination when spin-offs are in production to a large extent is contrary to what comic cook fans want from a superhero movie universe and shows a lack of respect for the level of detail put into the source material.

That pot is just begging to be stirred.

Maybe time to storm the beaches. :gngl:

I tend to think Feige will phase the rebooted X men characters into the MCU over several films before having an X Men solo film. Instead of throwing a thousand characters in at once, they may "introduce" several over them through out several of the films on the slate.

For example I could see Magneto showing up in an Avengers film, connecting to Wanda while Wolverine shows up in a Captain America film , and so on , before we get Uncanny X Men.

You know, I actually do find the idea of "Magneto introduced as awkward absent father" interesting. It would be humanizing for Magneto in a *different* way than he traditionally has received in the movies.

Also, it leads to an amusing mental image:

Steve: "You are aware that you are wanted by the law?"

Erik: "Many people are wanted by the law, for many reasons. However, I am not here to commit 'crimes'. I am here to talk with my daughter."

Steve: "Fair enough."

This really is going to be extremely tangential to your overall post but I must point out that I find it funny that you use the usual suspects when Singer literally made a film called ' The Usual Suspects.' Dunno if this was a tongue-in-check nod to Singer or his universe or not, I'm gonna assume you didn't, but I just thought it was humorous. :hehe:
