Dock Ock survives?

Well in the end of Spider-Man 2, you see Doctor Octavius drown for some reason.....What if he didn't drown? (Take Frodo in the Fellowship of the ring, it looked like he was dead but...) And not to mention Jean Grey from X-Men 3 (Most of us thought that she died in X2 but...) I really liked Dock Ock from SM2. It's possible that he is one of the vilains in SM3...Maybe he could be a cliffhanger in SM3 like Venom. In Spider-Man (PS1) he did make a good story with the Symbiotes maybe he could do the same for the movies...

Well that's just an Idea, what do you think? Should he be somewhere in Spider-Man 3 or not?

I put other, because i don't think he died but i don't think he will be in three either. if you look at the special features on spidey 2: eight arms to hold you, they virtually tell you that doc ock isn't dead by showing a comic cover at the end saying "doc ock lives" and they are all saying how little they like killing off there villains.

The little lights on Doc Ock's tentacles went out when he was in the water, that means there was no longer any signal being sent from his brain. While it wasn't shown that well in the movie, the water that the sun was dropping into was boiling explosively. He's dead Jim.

Raimi hinted that Ock was still alive, but I don't think he could fit in Spider-Man 3 unless they knocked out one or 2 of the villains.

Unless he has some freaky weird return thatwouldnt be to bad, but we havent heard anything on Alfred Molina or the Q&A did not metion Doc oCk.

So there won't be a DOC Ock, it will cramp up Spider-Man 3..

Mmm maybe someone might revive him (Or the tentacles can now survive without Octavious which might reconstruct Doc Oc into....somekind of....Eight-legged Terminator? )

Doc Ock went to the bottom of the lake. The lights on his tentacles even shut off. He's dead.
It would be stupid to just have him come back to life.
