Yep, considering he's not in the trailors, not been caught filming, not been seen with other cast members...yep, you are probably right!

Anyway, what part would you give him in the script?

If he's to return it most likely will be in future spider-man films after the current one.

Read it and of course there's no need to be hostile, but that's what you want to do. If the mods see it you'll probably have some trouble from them.
Why? For calling you strange?

Question. Why are so against the Return of Doctor Octapus?

Because he is clearly dead in Spider-Man 2. You obviously disagree, but I believe he is, as do many other Spider-Man fans. If he blinked, then I might have thought he wasn't dead, but every sympton of his body language suiggests that he is dead. Yes, it is an assumption, but a very strong one. You have no proof in the slightest, at least I have some sort of proof which has lead many other people to believe he is dead.

But you're not sure he's dead are you? The fact is, if Raimi wanted to bring him back, he could.

What would be so bad about more ock? This i don't get.

I've never said it would be BAD for Ock to return, read my posts again. I am simply saying that Ock is dead judging by Spider-Man 2. It would be great for him to return, but it's not going to happen.

And yes, I am 110% sure that he is dead. I'll say for the third time, I'd bet my house he's dead.

Just for the contrary, your not sure he's still alive are you?

No one can be sure whether he's dead or not. That's not up to debate. Neither of us can say whether he's truly dead or alive because we just have no confirmation either way.

What remains is the possibility that he could return. I say it'd be cool to see ock again. What say you?

I say it would be cool...But it's never going to happen.

There's no way your going to convince me that he is still alive based on your current argument.

That's up to you. like i said. Believe what you want to believe.

Galactical, your sig is 9 lines, max allowed is 6. Change it please and if you want to continue argue do it by pm

We are not arguing. We is debating. Forums encourage you to post your opinions, so leave us be.

ok Ock is not dead first off. At the end of the film the tentacles lights are still on. Second, he will not be coming back, we wouldve known by now or atleast have been clued in UNLESS they pull a barbossa at the end

Its anyones guess with this style. Nobody knows the answer till after they stop making films for years.

You are not only arguing...but calling people names...don't continue these actions.

Mmm maybe someone might revive him (Or the tentacles can now survive without Octavious which might reconstruct Doc Oc into....somekind of....Eight-legged Terminator?:O )

Better, Ock-Zombie!!!

Sorry to be pedantic but the lights do indeed go off (and not because he's descending to the dark depths of the river and you just cant see them anymore - you actually see them flicker and go out). I've watched the scene over and over again recently since the start of this thread to make sure.

They go out.

Ock is dead - He drowned. I liked Ock too and would love to see him back but based on the way he went out, they shouldnt bring him back.

Comicbook deaths are farcical at the best of times, they shouldnt make a habit of introducing it into its celluloid counterpart.

Ock can easily be back for a SInister Six movie... if they want to bring em back they will... if they don't he's dead... but he can easily be brought back... Raimi or Molina NEVER ruled it out... neither did Sony... if Superhero wants to say he's dead and that's a fact... well that's just adamant and not an opinion becaus we don't know...

Uncle Ben is Shocker, Aunt May is Carnage. Mark my words

That would be a right laugh.

Imagine them two old gits manage to fight the likes of Spider-Man, Venom and Sandman? Amuses to me to think about it.

Btw, Mary-Jane becomes Spider-Woman. She gets bitten by the exact same spider which bit Pete. Mark my words.

Bringing him back would force them to come up with a stupid reason for him not dying.

Not to mention, it cheapens his death in SM2 (which I DO NOT agree with in the first place, but what's done is done..)

"I will not die a monster...so I wont! I'm back!"

F*** Ock. He's a great villain, but he already had a whole movie to himself. I'd rather see Kaine as a main villain then The Return Of Doc Ock.
