Superman Returns Does Superman Returns actually have any fans of it on this board?

I noticed most of the fans of the film, the ones who gave it the majority vote in the 7-10 range on the Rate and Review thread when it came out and enjoyed it, are gone...

Alot of them, I've noticed, now post at The Planet (Bluetights.net). I'm thinking of leaving here and doing the same myself (since theres likely no one left).

Are there actually any fans of the film still on here?

Of course. I'm a fan of the Kid and I think a few are or were having a jolly time in the like thread and discussing the kitty character... I don't know exactly.

Well, I guess the majority of the fans left due to the uber criticism the movie has been getting here. It's a hostile environment. Go to the Batman boards and you won't see something like this.

I'm a huge fan of Returns, I loved it. So, I'm here, but I don't see too many positive posts or threads so I guess that's alienating to us who liked the movie. I still come very regularly though.

Ah well, I think I finally will swtich to Bluetights The Planet. This board has changed pretty drastically. I dont really recognize anyone here anymore, mostly everyone left and BT's got all the familiar faces on it.

It's fine though, it would have happened sooner or later.

Trust me, this, a few complaints about rehash and such, this is nothing. Hulk, a decent film got crucified from the start. I'm a Ang Lee hulk fan btw.

Does being a fanboy geeky enough to make a teaser trailer (during the really bad times) count? Which ended up inspiring several fans into making their own trailers and spawning a site called "Bluetights" (credits to Justin). Does that count too? I still remember Hulk providing hosting on his ISP account.

Does making a site to denounce the problems of McG's Superman, and to PROJECT fan VOICE and opinions on their ideal Superman film count? Does scooping every major entertainment site on the McG firing count as well? Does indirectly contributing to the consolidation of Superman-V/VOICE/Bluetights (credits to Justin/Scott/MJZ/Gillberg/Dan-El/LSOK) into one staff... does that count?

Or maybe I am one of those trollish "teh haturs" that "does not get Superman" at SHH...?

I didn't hate the film, put I didn't it lived up to what it could have ( Singer please release a extended version). I do like more than alot of Superhero films, but it many of Singer choices irks me.

Saph was once a nice guy, I even tried to take him under my wing, but the constant harrasment and back biting from certain posters, twisted him into a multiple.................poster..........erm guy.

the noobs generally have no clue what went on around here in 2003-2004 and what led to things like BT, Voice, etc. The ironic thing was, it was more fun around here then long before the movie got going because at least then everyone had hope and we were all united in getting Ratner/McG off the movie.
