Okay guys and girls.... the next post on this forum will put us to 2000 posts.

Please let BSM make this post. It'd be cool for him to do since he was the thread starter and it just makes sense don't it.

So.... once again: Please do not make the 2000th post, let BSM have it cos he's great for making this thread in the first place.

- Hobby

.... does editing a post bump the thread?
Thank you Hobby, for bestowing upon me the honor, and privilege of OUR- 2,00th post! This couldn't have been done without all of you guys, and i thank you all for giving Spider-Girl a try, and for keeping her name visible in the virtual world of the internet! Thanks again. (sniff...!)

Hey, BS, congratulations on keeping this thread going. And speaking of keeping Spider-Girl visible, check this out: Marvel has licensed a Spider-Girl Halloween costume that is almost accurate.

Any girl who shows up at my door wearing this at Halloween will get twice as much candy!

I'll give double the candy too (maybe), as long as no other kids are around because they may notice that I'm giving one person more than the other. Oh, and BS could have done it alone, if he replied to himself 2,000 times. lol

You know that you will have to give just as much candy to all the kids in the group if you give Spider-Girl extra candy ;)

Spider-Girl #79 is coming out pretty soon!

Yeah it is pretty cool, a little on the orignal Spider-Woman tip though, but cool none the less because it is Spider-Girl!! (The real Spider-Girl!!) But thanks guys for all the love and support of this thread, and our favorite Web-Stunner: Spider-Girl! I can't wait for the new issue to arrive!!!!!!!!!! (Take care guys'.)

Ah yes, and with a Goblin on the cover just in time for Halloween. Coincidence?

Maybe the issue can be taken place at halloween. There should eventually be an issue like that.

hey everyone. yeah. thanks to BSM this tread made it to 2000 and beyod posts. the good and the bad. this is the best thread on the hype. i can't wait till tomorrow. Spider-Girl will be the first things i read.

Why has everyone been so quiet?

Well, I'll try to kick it into gear by talking about No. 79.

Mostly I am amazed at how much story that Tom and Ron can squeeze into an issue -- with three splash pages! Boom! This issue has all sorts of developments, with relationships forming and coming undone. Tom reintroduces romance into the book in a bizarre yet non-exploitive way. It looks like May finally has snagged a pretty good guy with Chris.

He'd better treat her right, or he'll have to answer to me!

Issue #79 was great!

I hope something interesting happens to Normie after this issue. Not so sure about Chris... yeah he seems a good guy but he doesn't seem like May's type. Potential stalker material if you ask me.

Hope we see more of the Queen Of The Goblins too. Mayday might actually have a first-class villain on her hands!

Doesn't have anything to do with his last name, does it? ;)

What up gang, BSM here, and i must say that i'm so behind on my comics! Work and school is no joke, i commend anyone that's doing it, and managing to have a life as well!! I'm serious, but anyway, RIP to Rodeny Dangerfield, Back to School will always be one of my top ten '80's flicks, and Caddy Shack too! Anyway, i'll be hittin' up the "Comic Lady" sometime tomorrow, so i'll finally get to post some Spider-Girl related stuff, instead of all this dead air i've been full of lately. So May is dating Chris? Chris?? Aww man- i'd better check in on my girl May, and get the latest scoop!

Jarkoer? Huh?.... lost me...

Chris Jarkoer's namesake is Jarkoer from the Comic Board's SGMB. He's been a major force behind saving Mayday's bacon from the fire on more than one occasion. So, I guess he's earned the right to play Mayday's stalker. ;)

I have to say, I haven't visited this thread much lately, or posted here in a long time. I was tired of 'the arc that wouldn't die' and, in general, bored to tears with the title - almost to the point of dropping it. But the pace has definitely picked up with the last couple of issues. The supporting cast is back and the plot is, once again, moving forward at breakneck pace. Yep, looks like things are back on track again.

Y'know.... I really didn' pick up on his surname linking to the chap from the SG Comicboards. Silly Hobby.

I agree with you on the "arc that wouldn't die" - I too was very close to letting the title go for a bit there. Now that its gathered momenum on its conclusion and with the superb issue that was number #79, I'm firmly back in Mayday's corner.

Whoops, sorry. I thought you had a secret identity as an SGMB regular and would get the joke.

No...thats the same me.

I'm just being stupid. Can't believe I didn't make the connection between the two.

I knew what you meant Jeffers. And I just picked up the issue today. Wow! Another great issue. I can't believe that the formula would have no affect on Normie though. And, what was DeJunae's connection to Chesbro and BT?

Alright guys i must apologize, i've been so busy that i haven't gone to the comic shop like i was planning, and i feel like i'm falling so behind with Spider-Girl, and this thread too. So i've worked out a plan with my wife, and she'll be making my monthly rounds to the comic shop for me. Just reading you all's posts' about the latest issue really gave me a jones for comic books! School is going well, i just had my first mid-term, and i believe i did well. Aging Fangirl, i'm glad that you stuck it out with the title, and are enjoying what you're reading at that! Like i've always said, i have faith in Tom to deliver the goods, and the goods he's delivered now for the past 7 years! (Wow, 7 years!) But i do understand everyones frustration with the Black Trantula/ Lady Ock/ Canis arc, (well it wasn't their arc, but they were all heavily involved with the arc...)- and it did drag on for quite some time! But anyway, i'm babbling- not making sense, so i'm gonna get outta here, and get some rest! You guys' take care!

Alright gang, BSM here again, and day one of "Operation: Wifey gets' the comics" was a bust! My wife didn't even leave the house today! When i came home from school, i was getting a tad giddy thinking of how many books i'd have to read, and when i walked in- she was still in her PJ's, therefore killing the smile on my face. Well i'm still hoping that this weekend will change things. Pray for me! (Seriously! LOL!) Later guys!

i am back online i loved the issue. are we sure the formula had no effect or did Normie just not let on what had hapend. Spider-Girl realy took it to the Goblin Queen

I know that May doesn't want the violence but it's always so fun to see your hero kick major butt

I think that mystery will linger for a while.

If May got stabbed like that though they should have shown a little blood. That's a serious injury.
