Hannibal - Episode 1.02 - Amuse-Bouche - Press Release

"HANNIBAL"
"AMUSE-BOUCHE"

04/11/2013 (10:01PM - 11:00PM) (Thursday)

WILL FACES A NEW CASE AFTER A BIZARRE DISCOVERY IN THE WOODS – Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), now an official special investigator with the FBI, helps Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and the BAU unit search for a murderer who buries his victims alive to grow mushrooms. In their therapy sessions, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) begins to gain Will's trust as they bond over responsibility for Abigail (guest star Kacey Rohl), and helps Will open up about his true feelings about killing Hobbs. Meanwhile, Freddie Lounds (guest star Lara Jean Chorostecki) snoops around the BAU's investigation. Caroline Dhavernas and Hettienne Park also star.
Delicious! :awesome::up:

This has got to be the most educational show on TV this year. First we learn all about food and wine, and now horticulture. The syndicated reruns should be on HGTV.

This is valuable info. If Home Ec was like this, I would've signed up without question.

Hey, bodies are perfect fertilizer now. I'd eat some of them shrooms, the trippy kind or not. Mushrooms are awesome, nuthin better than some good sautéed shrooms

This show should should be on cable or Starz. It won't be long on NBC I think.

Playboy Club was a terrible choice for networks as well.

Not sayings its bad, but look at Southland. NBC was a horrible home for it. It was a cable show on a regular network when it needed to be on cable.

Vile, we don't need your negative energy in here. Take it outside. :o

Ok, all these promos are cool and all, but it's like OK ENOUGH ALREADY GIMME THE DAMN SHOQ

FANGORIA: Most of the world thinks of Anthony Hopkins as the face of Hannibal Lecter. Even Brian Cox in MANHUNTER has his fans. What do you think Mikkelsen adds to the Lecter legacy?
DAVID SLADE: A terrifying subtlety. And as the episodes go on, you will see this progress. He’s an astonishingly subtle performer with an incredibly keen sense of timing and what he has to do; he has a kind of mission in his acting. I can’t spoil it, but there is a moment in the third episode when the scene just becomes terrifying for reasons it shouldn’t, and that’s all Mads. He can be charming, and then turn on a dime slowly and scare the **** out of you. No one can do what Mads does, and I firmly believe he’ll end up being the definitive face of Hannibal Lecter.

:bow: Can't wait!!

Maaaaaan I really wish Dexter would stop being compared to Hannibal. They're two completely separate animals. The similarities between both shows and characters are minimal at best. And obviously I haven't seen Hannibal yet, but I'm going to assume it can at least keep its character's personalities consistent within the space of a single episode.

You know, it doesn't have to be an either/or situation, right? :dry:
