I am glad I will have something to look forward to before Captain MArvel is out. 7-8 month wait for that is now not so bad when Dragonball will have a movie in theaters 2 months before it.

Though the real question is this: do they kill Broly at the end or does he join the greater ensemble cast of DB? I'm leaning toward the later.

I wouldn't mind if he was a reoccurring character like Frieza.

Loving it, actually seems like an improvement on his original design.

The thing on his neck looks like it could be a modernised take on the mindcontrol collar he wore in the original, and with Paragus confirmed for the movie I wonder if Toriyama hasn't lifted that plotline mostly intact into his own narrative. The scar over his heart looks like it could be a riff on when he was stabbed as an infant too.

What I think might happen is that the Freiza and Co find a frozen broly finds a way to trick/control him (hence the armor) and sends him after Goku and Frieza.

Wasn't one of the first tid bits about the movie was that it was going to go into a bit of the history of Freeza and the Saiyans?

I actually still prefer the original design. Think it had a way better color scheme. There's way too much green on the current one.

They hyped Freeza up quite a bit. Plus they released Shintani's new design for him and some newer characters :

Remo, Chirai and Kikono.

Hopefully that's the extent with how far they'll revisit that concept. Freeza eventually worked out, and with Broly at the very least it's a reboot, but I'd prefer they leave the rest of those characters in the past.
