One plus out of this (at least in the UK anyway) is that we're getting a DVD/Blu-ray re-release of the 95 anime. Comes out March 20th.

When this was first announced a number of things about it intrigued me. A new film by Rupert Sanders (whose work I enjoyed on Snow White), a new sci-fi score by Clint Mansell. I also loved Under the Skin so a new sci-fi film with Scarlett Johansson could be good.

Unfortunately, I’m now convinced that this movie will be more in-line with Lucy than anything else. I just watched the trailer for the first time, which was very average as far as they go today. But what really gives me pause is the fact that Ehren Kruger (of Transformers fame) co-wrote the script.

I guess I’ll wait for the reviews to hit before buying a ticket.

I think she's just blinking or the shot is her mid-closing her eyes because of the blast. It's really hard to get a shot.
