The Dark Knight Rises Dressing Up in Costume for Opening Night?

So i spent $600 on a bat suit.

Iam gonna used this Halloween and then again TDKR opening night


Anyone else gonna dress up in costume or has in the past?

I'm gonna wear a batman t-shirt and not worry about my cape chaffing my bat-ass while trying to keep up with nolan's nonstop plot points.

Me too. At most I'll be wearing black clothing, which I do most of the time anyway.

If I can attend a screening where there will be others in costume, I will arrive as Dr. Jonathan Crane. Or, maybe the Judge, if said bit of information turns out to be valid, and a high quality grab emerges beforehand.

Considering it this year for a midnight screening. Thankfully the Catwoman outfit can be discreet with black tights and a tight black top so I won't look like a complete mental. The goggleears are pretty minuscule so not a problem either.

The only giveaway are the ridiculous hooker heels... I may own a pair.

Finally, someone like me! I get all my Batman (and superhero) clothing from here, so my wardrobe will likely be from their inventory.

Those that dress up in public are braver men than I. I say men, because honestly no sane person would ever begrudge (sexy) women from cosplaying our favorite female characters. I suppose one great thing about the stripper stilettos Anne sports is that there would likely be an influx of imitators. My eyes thank those hopefuls in advance.

I dressed up as Joker for the midnite showing of TDK and won some best costume prize, ahhh the old days I dont think ill be doing much dressing up this time around unless I can get some steroids I dont think I can look like Bane.

Plus I refuse to shave my head :/

That shirt is awesome meddle, I have probably 20 batman shirts boxed up cause I never wear them, some of them are from when TDK came out and I bought literally everything I could get, I should contact the mods and see if my collection thread is still hiding somewhere.

Wow 20? That's a lot! Much more impressive than my Batman t-shirt collection. I'm thinking of getting a vintage Batman tee with the yellow oval badge that looks a bit faded. Hopefully we can bring the thread back. It's fun talking about our collections.
