Drive - New TV series on Fox

I enjoyed those 4 episodes more than anything Heroes has done. And yet that continues to be a ratings monster while Drive will fade into memory.

Are you sure you've been watching Heroes? What Heroes has done has been pure gold, and the final 5 episodes of the season are going to be awesome.

Are you sure you've been watching Heroes? What Heroes has done has been pure gold, and the final 5 episodes of the season are going to be awesome.

I've been watching parts of heroes here and there after I stopped watching it and my only problem with it is it has like 3 original ideas and steals all of its other stuff from all over the place. Drive was an original concept, with original characters and storylines that didn't seem like a rehash of something I've seen before. Tim Minear should make a Serenity-esque movie about this with a better studio than Fox.

Yeah some are saying that Heroes has a few concepts from other things, but still Heroes is it's own show. I can't wait to see the episode where it takes place in the future. The promo for it looked great. Drive had huge potential.

I wanted to see if Fillion would find his wife, what the solider would end up doing with his situation in Iraq who would end up winning the race ofcourse, and so much more things. Why can't FOX just give there shows a chance?

For real. It seems like Fox just has a terrible record as a network period. Yeah, I have. I'm not going to go into detail in this thread. I'll just say that Heroes could have been good, but I find it to be real paint by numbers stuff. I am rarely surprised by anything that happens in the show.

Exactly. I for one thought the show was doing well, I had no idea it'd be on the verge of getting canceled to early. Like some have said, FOX really needs to let their shows grow. Just because it doesn't do that well when it's first starting, doesn't mean it's going to do bad. Just give it time! So many people were getting into the show...really, I thin someone needs to contact FOX, is there any way to do that? I'm so surprised by this.

oh, well, considering Fox's track record, I can't really say I'm surprised. disappointed, but not at all surprised. too bad, the show had A LOT of potential. but that's Fox for ya.

Somebody needs to make a petition to keep this show on the air. It could have been so badass, all the little things they set up could have made the show so amazing. If enough people back behind this maybe we can get something out of this.

Well... thats Minear's bad. You would think that after 3 consecutive failed series' he would have enough smarts to never go to FOX with new ideas.

I dont think we should let this go. We need to fight like hell for more Drive. F*** Fox, we dont need them. The Cw would even be a better fit for Drive. Scoff if you want, but the CW is a smaller network that doesnt depend on mindblowing ratings. This show could really thrive there.

Damn, I'm never watching Fox again, though I doubt that makes a difference in ratings, but I hate having these great new shows shot down before their prime. Also Minear needs to stay away from them from now on, I understand you gotta go with whoever is willing to take you, but when someone gives you the axe four times in a row, there's no point in continuing a partnership with them. Damn this sucks ass.
